I heard the spartans have brought in a few new players, not sure if will play this weekend. im pretty sure theyre all from the super league. anyway, they may need more reinforcements. Chris Bush - Brisbane Roar Youth (played a couple of 1st team games) Jonathan Acero - Parramatta (last season) - Was rumoured trialing in asia this year Some asian guy spot on although i didnt want to name the players. as for the earlier comments, bit harsh on the spartans. theyve been very competitive thus far on a limited budget and basically using their SL squad. on their day, theyre a capable mob. just glad we won last week!

I read they punted all their SL squad except 6 which were ex-nepean players which make up their core of 8 ex-nepean players. As for u/20's their squad from last year came bottom of the table. So not sure where your getting info that they use their SL squad as they don't have one.

Edited by Aussiesrus: 2/6/2012 05:24:03 PM no can do mate.....not my right to spill the beans....but yes some big changes coming, worst ref of the year by a country mile last night, had a clear penalty denied at 2-1 and when that decision went against them they dropped, fair result was a draw, also the news that things are changing and some will face the chop couldn't of helped...... anyway like they say in football....theres always next week...!!!!

Ultimate, Your spreadsheet appears to be rather accurate. Good stuff. Interesting statistics. aussietarfan wrote:Well it's early but I'm calling it, Melita will finish last again but this time their indifferent U/20's wont save them. Batfink has told us some big changes are coming for Parra FC. So depending on those changes It's a tad early for myself to make the same call but at this point I would concur. It's not looking good thus far with Parra FC firmly on the bottom of the firsts table and U/20's table. We've seen what a difference a new coach can make AKA Rockdale so let's see what eventuates at Parra FC. Parra are a young side and still developing with quite a few from their u/20's from last year in the side mixed with a few experienced guys. I think too many have been promoted up from u/20's in a move which hasn't paid off and may well have cost them a spot in NSWPL next season. Sterrey has indicated player changes. So the coach isn't on the radar for a change. Time will tell... Edited by Aussiesrus: 4/6/2012 09:20:19 AM

Edited by Aussiesrus: 4/6/2012 09:20:19 AM marconi played some wonderful football first half against us and thoroughly deserved their 2-0 lead at the break. second half we improved dramatically and had a couple of chances to make it interesting. mcallister with a header and when young alex was through. wasnt to be. disappointing. now we gotta bounce back against parra this week. big game. im sure sterrey will be pumped for the game against us. still scratching my head as to why the 20's was cancelled was marconi. the field was fine! crowd was about 150 people of which there were 120 rockdale supporters.
