Anyone would surely be crazy to sign him wouldn't they? No doubt he's quality, but so are many others who'd come with much less baggage and won't be suspended for about 1/4 of every season.

Isn't he still suspended for 8 games? It'd be very strange if a PL club was willing to a) pay a high enough price for him, and b) cop a suspension for th first few games of the season.

Plus! Didn't this whole 'Suarez leaving' rumour start because he was unsettled in England? Got the media is dumb sometimes.

I will quit as a mod and leave the forums forever if he moves to another English club.

For a maximum of 5.1m if he's with us for 3 seasons that's a damn good deal IMO. They'll still want to bring in another attacking player though.

5.1mil is an absolute bargain - I think that's in euros too. Brilliant business. A little disappointed that Spurs didn't land him though, especially if that's all he cost.

According to Marca he was subject to "a ridiculous offer" from Spurs but they rejected it as he was already in talks with Atleti.

I'm not sure about Baptistao, but he's young so a lot could happen. I'm not really a fan of Adrian, and his scoring record is average. They've got a few secondary forwards like Diego Costa, Adrian and Baptistao, but if Villa is injured there's nobody to lead the attack.
