Fulham acquistitions very smart. Johnson is quality, I'd tip him to play for England numerous times and Vicente is an absolute gun, very under-rated. I think Valencia would be expecting alot for him. Half of those are key players, half new signings. Half not probable. I think that these two are a bit above Tottenham, Adriano might need the move but I'm pretty sure Materazzi will be staying.

Diego Forlan is at Atletico and has been since 07. Johnston is a great player as is Vicente but I disagree I reckon they could snap him up for about 7 or 8 million

Why would we want Vicente when we've got Riera, who's been better this season. And why would we want Elano when we've got Alonso (and I'm an Elano fan saying this). Re: Vicente. He's struggled a little on the left since Silva's come into his own over the last 18 months or so.

He has the confidence. He just lacks the consistancy and bottle to push Silva for a spot.

Almeida is latest loan link
With striking options limited and Everton's lack of potency underlined at Anfield on Monday evening, David Moyes is again being linked with moves to bring in reinforcements on loan.
This time it's Werder Bremen forward Hugo Almeida, the 24 year-old Portuguese striker who has notched 17 goals in 57 appearances for the German club since signing from Porto in 2007. The Guardian report that Everton have made a loan-deal offer to Bremen. The same article also suggests that Moyes will tie up the £200,000 capture of Irish right back Seamus Coleman before the weekend. Guardian.
Not bad for a striker and a loan seems like a good option.

He's hardly the prolific solution to Everton's lack of striking potency.

So why would you buy a player that isn't any better than the various strikers you've already got?? That's hardly going to take the team forwards or help improve things is it??

I dont know about cash. I'd prefer a swap. 10mil isnt gonna get you much these days. I think dirk kuyt is worth more to us but I dont think any higher would be a fair price for anyone else. Giovinco for Kuyt+5m?
Perhaps accept the 10mil and start talking to some of valencias wingers. Joaquin, Vicente, Silva.. Navas from Sevilla, Capel. I think it'd have to be a spaniard.
