Anyone know much about this kid? He's good on FM 09 so I'm thinking its a good signing. since when fm was right in my glory team foxe and rizzo were best players and malouda got player of the year

Let me put it this way: If he was that good, Blackburn wouldnt' have let him go from a relegation battle. Quote:I just want Malouda to fuck off ASAP. Dont care how. It would be brilliant to have Ribery there, much better than Joe Cole IMO. But we have been very reluctant to buy anyone this window. He wont come to Chelsea but I really want him too. And I want Liverpool to sign Lennon, Villa, Chiellini and Lahm...

He's a good player but perhaps not suited to the 'hard work' Allardyce ethic. If he gets a good run of first team football in a footballing side he could come on leaps and bounds, maybe Olympiakos can give him what he needs? I don't know what kind of football Olympiacos play so I don't know. Mates of mine back home have said we (Sunderland) should be signing him if we've got a few million to spare. EDIT - oh, and El Hadj Diouf is off to Blackburn. Edited by Benjamin: 30/1/2009 07:32:21 PM

Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given looks certain to join Manchester City in the next 24 hours after failing to show for training this morning. Given has put in a transfer request and wants to seal a £8 million switch to Eastlands before Monday's transfer window shuts. The former Celtic and Blackburn keeper who has been at St James Park for 11 years is believed to be in the north west sorting personal terms and his medical. Not surprisingly Charles N'Zogbia has also not trained with the first team as his row with Joe kinnear escalates but unlike with given there will be no tests aged by supporters or players if the Frenchman gets his wish to quit Newcastle. More encouraging news for Kinnear this morning ahead of Sunday's clash is the return of Obafemi Martins, Mark Viduka and Shola Ameobi to training this morning and all three could be on the bench. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1132330/EXCLUSIVE-Given-transfer-City-keeper-fails-training.htmlSeems like a matter of time. I know its old news but 13.25 Blackburn have completed the signing of Sunderland forward El-Hadji Diouf. 12.04 Newcastle have completed the signing of midfielder Kevin Nolan from Bolton on a four-and-a-half-year deal for a fee believed to be in the region of £4million. 12.36 Chelsea have snapped up Turkish youth international Gokhan Tore on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen, while Vincenzo Camilleri has left Stamford Bridge to join Reggina. 13.18 Liverpool starlet Ryan Flynn is a target for a host of clubs before the close of the transfer window, skysports.com understands.
