Well if they've been negotiating for a week, I'd say things aren't going anywhere fast.

Argentineans find it hard to settle in countries like England, Australia and USA(culturally). Thats why theres not many in the EPL. They'd prefer to live in Italy or Spain, which is much more like home to them. Im a little surprised Tevez settled in well TBH. LIVERPOOL have won the race to land Portsmouth's £19million full-back Glen Johnson. The England defender is expected to have a medical on Merseyside tomorrow - unless Chelsea or Manchester City can gazump the Kop at the last minute. Johnson, 24, has opted for Anfield after emerging as one of the most sought-after men in the Premier League this summer. And his signing is a real coup for Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, who feared the club's financial crisis would force him out of the bidding. There is still the slight possibility Liverpool could be thwarted, with Chelsea determined to re-sign the man they sold to Pompey for just £4m two years ago. LINK - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2482928/Benitez-wins-scrap-for-Glen.html Im still questioning the amount where spending for a RB, besides the price he is a good player and we need to strengthen our backline after having conceeded some stupid goals over the season...

A subtle hint to a cashed up United? In all serious whilst signing Aguero to United would be a dream to me I would still be torn because an Atletico without Aguero is a very weakened Atletico. Porto's LB Sissokho (sp?) caught my eye in the ECL, wouldnt be surprised to see him snapped up he is a very good player imo

Mathieu has transfered from Toulouse to Valencia. He's a strong fullback and will hurt Toulouse's European campaign.

Really???? Cant believe I missed that, great prospect though. Yeah Ive heard a bit about that Mathieu. On Aguero to Madrid, I reckon even if Madrid made a mega Ronaldo-esque offer then they would still turn them down in favour of selling him half price to a team outside of Spain who aren't their biggest rivals.

Didier Zokora would cost at least 8 million as it is rumored that he wasn't allowed to join Sevilla because they weren't willing to pay that.
I heard Fulham wanted to loan Jo so there might be some truth there that they want to get him.

Zlatan 30 million rated? Since when? Morratti keeps saying at least 90

Need I say anything? Overnight: - AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani has been discussing Aly Cissokho's potential move to the club. The plot thickens. - Roque Santa Cruz admits there is a possibility no club will trigger his buy-out clause this summer. The Blackburn striker is wanted my Manchester City, but the Blues have so far refused to match his £20million valuation. - Bayern Munich have admitted to making an approach for Chelsea full-back Jose Bosingwa. - Newcastle defender Sebastien Bassong has revealed that he is in talks with two clubs regarding a summer move. - Ajax defender Thomas Vermaelen has claimed he will undergo a medical at Arsenal on Friday. - Real Madrid president Florentino Perez claims it is only "a question of time" before the club sign David Villa - as the capture of Cristiano Ronaldo moves ever closer. - Finally, Burnley manager Owen Coyle insists he has not lodged a bid for Middlesbrough's Rhys Williams.

What afro said. Quote:Man United and Arsenal target Lyon forward Karim Benzema looks set to stay with the French club for at least another year after committing his immediate future to the French outfit before going on holiday. (Daily Express) Crud! This can either mean Lyon are angling for more cash to "persuade" them otherwise, or he is genuinley staying. Rooney is doing great where he is ATM so we defo need a talented goalscorer for next season. Quote:I think Barca wouldn't want to spend that much on Ibra, hard to tell where he will go now..... If he was to go to Barca, expect a lesser transfer fee + player exchange(Hleb, Gudjonssen, Marquez).
