Benzema being an Arsenal target is news to me. He'd cost ten times what Arsene would be willing to pay and He can actually grow facial hair.

- Carlos Tevez has reportedly stated that joining Liverpool is not an option according to Skysports.
- New Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has been linked with a move for Espanyol ace Raul Tamudo, according to reports in Spain.
- Inter Milan chief executive Ernesto Paolillo has admitted they will be prepared to sell striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but only for a fee in the region of the £80million shelled out by Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo. ( I'll give them half that, maybe.)
- Blackburn have agreed a fee with Olympiakos for the permanent transfer of Matt Derbyshire and the striker has now been given permission to discuss personal terms.
- Gennaro Gattuso's agent insists his client is happy at AC Milan and has had no contact from Chelsea.
- AC Milan's bid to sign French left-back Aly Cissokho from Porto has collapsed at the last minute amid concerns over a dental issue.

Moratti valued him at 90 million euros, I don't know what that is in pounds but I assume it's around that mark?

90mil Euro = Just over 45mil Pound. So whoever's saying 30mil can have one of his legs, half his torso and two arms and that's about it.

Actually GBP90m is closer to 80m Euros.

TBH, that would be the most honourable thing to do. I'd happily see him go to Chelski over 'pool.

Dont know what to make of it. He is truely a legend in the LFP, but not sure if he can adapt to the English game. :-k

Tevez is GONE!!!!

Quote:
Argentinian forward Carlos Tevez will leave Barclays Premier League champions Manchester United, the club confirmed.

Tevez's two-year loan deal was set to expire this month because United have been unable to agree a transfer fee with the group of investors who own the economic rights to the Argentine forward.

United offered Tevez a new five-year deal that would have made him one of the highest-paid players at Old Trafford, but said he turned it down.

A statement from Manchester United said: "Following contact received from Carlos Tevez's advisors last night, in advance of the deadline the Club set for concluding negotiations, Manchester United announces that Carlos will not be signing a new contract with the Club.

"The Club agreed to pay the option price of 25.5 million pounds and offered Carlos a five-year contract which would have made him one of its highest paid players.

"Disappointingly however, his advisors informed the Club that, despite the success he has enjoyed during one of the Club's most successful periods, he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United.

"The Club would like to thank Carlos for his services over the last two seasons and wishes him good luck for the future."

The decision paves the way for Tezev, who has been linked to a number of top flight clubs in England including Liverpool and Manchester City, to relaunch his career in the Premier League.

Despite playing a leading role in United's success last season the Argentine complained of not playing enough. He was regularly used as a substitute.
