They're not "Facts" if you make them up, batfink. Here are the facts:
- You made a false claim and it was shown to be your usual complete and utter bullshit.
- You're now trying to cover that up by throwing around personal insults and making this about me instead of your own belligerent stupidity.

whatever you say.......you prove me right whenever you digress from the topic......

so whenever you want just let me know and you can come up and check out that everything i have stated is correct......

you continually deflect to my grammar as a way of avoiding the facts.....

What?

I've already repeated myself literally a dozen fucking times. How many times do I have to say you claimed that the ABC was heavily left-wing biased. Then when asked to produce evidence of this failed to do so.

Reserve bank of Australia
The government has come under fire for not boosting the economy (getty).

Warwick McKibbin, a former board member for the Reserve Bank of Australia, has advised the central bank to hold off on cutting the nation’s official cash rate to fill the economic "void", and instead stated that it is the government’s responsibility to boost the economy.

Yesterday, the Australian Bureau of Statistics released retail data that revealed sales were flat at 0.0 percent for June – marking the fourth consecutive month of sales weakness. Furthermore, business conditions also deteriorated for the month, as revealed by an Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry report.

As reported by The Australian Financial Review, McKibbin said "trying to raise demand from cutting interest rates does not induce investment, especially when weak confidence by political incoherence is a driving force in the current Australian economy."

Opposition Shadow Treasurer Joe Hockey supported this argument, suggesting that the economy should be growing faster and there should not be a need for interest rate cuts – particularly with the rate already sitting at an all-time low of just 2.75 percent.

Whilst some people believe that the Reserve Bank should hold off on a rate cut (and maybe cut them in six months or so), the financial market is giving it a 100 percent chance that it will be cut to 2.5 percent today. Should this transpire, it is likely that we will see the Australian dollar fall even further, after hitting a low of US88.48c yesterday.

Whilst changes to political policies are certainly having an effect on the economy, a rate cut today would very likely increase consumer and business sentiment and we could see shares increase across a number of industries. For instance, retailers such as Myer (ASX: MYR), David Jones (ASX: DJS) or JB Hi-Fi (ASX: JBH) could see boosts with the market anticipating more spending, whilst the nation’s miners would also benefit from a lower Australian dollar.

First oops moment as Diaz left dazed
BY:JARED OWENS From: The Australian August 06, 2013 12:00AM

THE Liberal candidate in NSW's most marginal electorate, Jaymes Diaz, made a humiliating stumble on the first day of the campaign, clamming up when asked to explain his party's policies.

Flanked by sombre-looking party activists in blue shirts, the Greenway candidate yesterday used a Ten Network interview to tout his party's six-point plan to stop asylum-seeker boats.

......It has long been known in Liberal circles that the Diaz family has control of the local branches in Greenway, centred around Blacktown and including suburbs like Seven Hills, Toongabbie and Kellyville Ridge.
Jaymes Diaz and his father Jess, a Blacktown councillor, are migration agents and influential members of the large Filipino community in the area.
The story goes that the second piece of paperwork you get to sign with your visa documents when you deal with the Diaz's is a Liberal Party membership.
A Liberal insider puts it like this: “Our problem is the opposite of Labor's. We have too much local democracy. Because of that, branch stacking is a bigger problem for us.”......

Virgin Aust expects loss of up to $110m

AIRLINE Virgin Australia expects to book an annual loss of $95 million to $110 million, blaming the difficult economy, competition, restructuring costs and the carbon tax.

Quote:
Virgin Australia also took longer to finalise its revenue recognition during the second half of the 2013 financial year due to the introduction of a new ticketing system.
Shares in Virgin Australia were 1.75 cents, or 3.85 per cent, lower at 43.75 cents at 1345 AEST on Monday.

The company said on Monday that the carbon tax in the 2012/13 financial year was estimated to have cost it $45 million to $50 million.
Virgin Australia had been unable to pass on the cost through higher ticket prices because the local economy was weak and competition was tough.
"It (the cost of the carbon tax) is simply not recoverable," Virgin Australia chief executive John Borghetti told reporters.
"For anybody to suggest that this is recoverable in the current economic climate is just not a realist."
He said the carbon tax especially hurt Virgin Australia because it was a domestic tax and 80 per cent of Virgin Australia's revenue was domestic.
The tax would continue to have an adverse impact on Virgin Australia's financial results if the economy remained soft.
Mr Borghetti said even if economic conditions did improve, competition in the aviation sector was so tough that it was doubtful that the full amount of the carbon tax could be recovered through higher ticket prices.

Mr Borghetti said that although the earnings update was disappointing, Virgin Australia had made significant progress in its restructuring program and now had the right platform in the Australian market to generate sustainable earnings benefits.
Domestic operating statistics for June and July 2013 showed a positive trend compared to May, which suggested strength and momentum building into the 2014 financial year.
The airline said the full year cost of its restructuring and transformation program over the 2013 financial year was anticipated to be around $100 million.
The costs included the move to the new Sabre booking and check-in system, and transaction costs related to the acquisition of Skywest Airlines and 60 per cent of Tiger Airways Australia.
The recently-acquired Skywest business was estimated to have made a pre-tax operating loss of $5 million to $10 million, reflecting investment to rapidly grow the business.

i reside in the Lindsay electorate, i had to deal with David bradbury when he a mayor of Penrith.

he is a grub and a joke....i had to fight on behalf of about 60 households to have some flood mitigation works approved, Penrith Council had approved a development called "GLENMORE PARK" in the Penrith council area and approved 12,000 houses to be constructed.....the development went ahead and all the properties who lived downstream on schoolhouse creek started to flood in average downfalls something that had never occurred before.....Bradbury really wanted his share of the $1.6 million section 96 contributions, what happens with developments is that the developers have to put money away for any unforeseen remedial works that may occur due to the development.....once the time frame expires the developer and the council go halves in the cash if no remedial works are required.....so he really wanted the $ 800,000.00 so he could balance the councils books and look good to the public.....he was the most arrogant disconnected jerk i had ever dealt with......finally after months of fighting we were successful in gaining the flood mitigation works to the creek that ran through this community... but for me it was to late...i could not stand living there anymore after our house went under about 7 times and we just decided to get out....but i was very proud to have been able to win for all our neighbors and get the remedial works done......

now as far as the interview goes it's pretty obvious how arrogant the prick is......in every aspect of life there is a balance.....sure interest rates are low but there comes a time where they are too low and stimulation is required by either policy to stimulation

Think this might be a little interesting. Personally I found the questions were framed in a way to heavily favour the ALP. Basically it looks like that unless you see things from the extreme left (greens) or the extreme right (LNP) you will end up somewhere near Labor. Certainly not accurate but it does make for interest.

http://www.abc.net.au/votecompass/

For me, it's not so much bias in the survey as reflective of the fact that current Greens policies ARE quite extremely left-wing, while current LNP policies ARE quite extremely right-wing.

I have no taste for the union power-base and historical activities of the Australian Labor Party, but as a social liberal and economic moderate I just don't see any other party in Australia that even comes close to what I would consider as a fairly normal political position.

With the Democrats gone, Labor has effectively moved right to replace them pushing the Liberals even more right again and opening up the left for the Greens to establish themselves.

A well organised and supported party along the old Australian Democrats or British Social Democrats lines could really take the current political landscape here by storm... basically Kevin Rudd as a non-union right-leaning Labor Party member is cornering that position.
