The deaths at sea trope is pretty funny.

Is it possible millions, if not billions, have died en route to Australia, and has just not been reported? How many were possibly abducted by, interfered with and anally probed by aliens? Is there even such a thing as boat arrivals, or has the air we breathe been poisoned so the Illuminati can control our thoughts and actions? Does life even exist, or are we just imaginings of some extra dimensional being?

There is no actual debate to this issue when your response to hundreds of lives lost in a boating accident at sea is to shrug and say "oh well, accidents happen".

It isnt a strawman. Ive never heard anyone on the left attempt to provide a justification for open borders when its caused nothing but death and misery. Its totally ignored. They express moral outrage at people being detained and an orderly sensible migration process, but when it comes to people dying, entire vessels wit hundreds of children crammed on board sinking, etc, they feel nothing. To me this lack of concern for human life borders on sociopathic, its hard to fathom how these people see themselves as morally elite when they demonstrate such a staggering lack of empathy.

I just let the facts speak for themselves. Under labor you had thousands of deaths and children locked up, absolute chaos and ceded control of our borders to criminals. under Liberals the deaths have stopped, destroyed the people smugglers, clearing the backlog of asylum claims and closing down detention centres.

Those are just the plain unvarnished facts, that some people have a difficult time acknowledging as it doesn't suit their political perspective. im just waiting for afro to pop his head in with his Schrodingers cat guff, always good for a chuckle.

Under Labor thousands died and not a murmur, and then under Liberals one guy and the howls and cries of despair. The sheer hypocrisy of it all is just breathtaking. And those counterfeit human beings who thought they were raising their candles for Reza, would they have been there crying their little hearts for Reza had it occurred under Labor? Form suggests not. No it was just political all along, and Rezas death was abused to make a political point against the government.
