SO, EXACTLY WHICH PART OF FOLAU’S SERMON GOT HIM SACKED? I do not necessarily agree with Israel Folau’s preaching style, but he did quote directly from the Holy Bible which, to Christians around the world, is the authoritative Word of God. This raises the question as to exactly which part of the quoted Holy Bible landed Folau in a contractual breach with Rugby Australia. Was it: Drunks?

Adulterers?
Liars?
Fornicators?
Thieves?

Hell? Seriously, has Rugby Australia spelt out exactly which part of the sermon it has relied on to sack Folau? Perhaps it was the reference to “drunks”, since drunken behaviour is frowned upon by Rugby Australia because it can lead to lewd public behaviour, compromising private videos, serious driving offenses and vile domestic violence against heterosexual or same-sex partners and families... It seems to me that, apart from individual players and officials making personal comments, Rugby Australia has sufficed itself to say that Folau was sacked for “serious breach of contract”. We can see where this is gradually going. SOON THEY’LL BE BANNING THE HOLY BIBLE BECAUSE IT CENSURES ALL “IMMORAL” BEHAVIOUR

It's a social issue and the Folau incident is quite political. Especially when it basically impinges on Christians quoting from a religious text or Bible. It's a very dangerous precedence that is being set here.

For your information, I have voted for Labor before but not in a long while. That's because, Labor use to protect the interests of the worker.

I ask you this. Since when did Australian labor decide to go against old aged retirees? Such as people waiting on a couple of thousand from the Franking Credits because they are below the 30% tax bracket?

Do you deny that the new brand of Labor has pitted sections of the community against each other. This was not the case with Hawke or Keating.

Disappointing to hear that though, I guess a lot of questions were about what Labor are going to do which is a tough answer to give 2 days after an election defeat.

I'm not sure if they're capable of soul searching.   When the left use elections, especially ones they expect to win, their final analysis tends to be that the public is stupid and chose the wrong party.  Just look at all the b celebs going ape shit on twitter, calling coalition voters dumb, bigoted and selfish, all because of who they cast their vote for.   The same thing happened in the US with Democrats, they couldn't stand the fact they had been outsmarted and outwitted by Trump so they blame stupid, ignorant voters and fake Russia collusion instead.

This is so sad. These people just wanted to come to Australia for a better life, yet our government has treated them like absolute shit to the point where some are driven to suicide. I feel so ashamed that my government, which claims to give every one a fair go is driving people to suicide with its draconian policies.

We do deserve them but the sort of superpowers that would sanction us are our allies (and are dabbling in it themselves). The superpowers that aren't couldn't give a stuff about human rights.

The only apology that should be given is to the families of the victims who died at sea because of Labor/Greens negligent border policies. And also to those genuine refugees still rotting in refugee camps because their places were stolen but cashed up economic migrants paying people smugglers.

What for? Settling the second number of refugees per capita?  For prioritising refugees of the greatest need rather than those who hop on a boat?  While your heart breaks for those few stuck on Nauru and Manus, spare a thought for the millions still stuck in refugee camps waiting for their day of deliverance.  Australia, thanks to our generous and compassionate policies, remains one of their greatest hopes that one day they will be set free.

Yes indeed. I think the fact that humans continue to run the narrative that to stop people drowning we have to mentally torture other people to the point of self-harm and suicide is strong evidence of how shitty they can be.

So is the narrative that handing control of our borders to criminals and overseeing the deaths of thousands and detention of tens of thousands including children somehow constitutes “humane” policy.
