i have an iphone, but i prefer android. once my contract is up, im switching.

Android all the way . Had an iPhone before but have moved on to a HTC velocity . Also having flash is a bonus

I have an iPhone, my gf has a Galaxy II. I like them both, if I was gonna get a new phone I'd flip a coin cause I care that little.

Android is pretty interesting if you have the patience to figure out all its bells and whistles. iPhone is good for lazy people.

Android is more for the tech-savvy IMO. iphone is for consumers.

I prefer Android...but that's more because if my personal distaste for apple.

X2, my wife and I have been anti apple since the original Ipod came out and the resurgence of Apple iMacs.
Apple is about consuming, they're not looking for you to only need to upgrade your technology once every ten years or so, they wantit evey 18 months.

I go Android, but I still prefer my Symbian Vivaz. But this is becoming so buggy I'm now using a Samsung Galaxy 1 and it's getting there, My new phone will be a Sony Xperia U when they're released later this year. I've been a Sony Fan boi since the early 90's and they're finally coming back with a Dualcore phone worthy of entering in to the battle.

I take you shitty iPhones, and modern phones, and raise you:

So what? Apple is a business and it's only objective is to make money. No one forces you to buy its products so what cares if people are burning $ updating their gadgets every 6 - 12 months, it's their choice. If it wasn't for Apple and their ruthless marketing and product churn we probably wouldn't have iphones or tablets, we'd still be using physical keypads, vga screens etc.

Geez, you are an apple fanboi aren't you! Jobs did not come up with all these products if anything he stole the ideas and pattened them to stop people from being able to compete in the market against him.

The mass consumerism is a worry for the whole world as all the Tech waste has to go somewhere and there's only so much land not covered with water, forrest and people.

Also the mass control Apple were (i'm unsure if it will continue now Jobs family vision is dead) trying to implement on their products including editing your emails and sms as they saw fit to ensure abusive language and images were not sent via their prducts jobs was trying to get implemented.

If this were true, good on him. If people don't secure their ideas and patent technologies they deserve to get fucked. If Apple didn't do it someone else would. Google has made plenty of money leveraging off Apples innovation.



Google platform facilitates more product churn than Apple does.

So are Androids. You can either be an Apple zombie or an Android "android". Only dicks think they are better than iphone users, vice versa.

I prefer much more choice than Android or iPhone, but as I am not apart of the IT elite, I can not create a new platform.

Android is only better than Apple as you can choose the handset you wish to use, it is an operating system not a solely and whole own product that only gives you the choice of white or black.

And if your phone can handle it spec wise, you get updates to you OS as opposed to buying an entire new handset.

Also...you can replace your battery in Android phones :cool:

Doesn't Apple go through a cycle of announcing a new handset, releasing a new OS for old handset that slows it down to the point that people just end up buying the new handset?
