Just wondering what it is like in other states, particularly NSW. In Tasmania the older, or better team, plays against adult men in the reserves competition in the split state league. The NTC normally dominates the competition. Even if they don't win, they dominate possession. In reality many of these reserves younger teams from split state league clubs, seem to have very young teams. There seems to be a paucity of older players in their thirties these days. Many players seem to retire very young. The younger NTC team plays under 19 teams from the same clubs.
