I'd love to know how anyone in their right mind could think this is a good idea, especially a former congressman

Apparently in January the state of Texas passed a law allowing open hand gun carry. With a protest like this, this was never going to end well. Edited by Heineken: 8/7/2016 03:19:30 PM

So the black guy arrested after the photo was released by the DPD of him wearing military style camouflage fatigues was actually carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle at the time, as "was his right do do so" under Texan law. He was released, and wasn't one of the shooters, but way to make yourself a target. Not the smartest bloke.

ABC wrote:A man who police were speaking to earlier is now no longer a "person of interest". US correspondent Michael Vincent reports that the man was carrying an assault rifle, but under Texan laws, people are allowed to carry weapons openly, and that includes semiautomatic assault weapons.

The fact that they roosted at certain areas and triangulated their lines of fire (and had enough experience with the rifles to do well at those ranges) definitely points to tactical experience. -PB

Texas passed law in January allowing unconcealed carry of hand guns. So basically you can now walk around as openly armed as you'd like in Texas.

The tragedy of this whole incident is that the killers will be portrayed a victims by the race apologists and the cops killed will be seen as having deserved it ](*,)

-PB Certain conditions? Like deliberately trolling poor old police to school them in their 2nd amendment rights. How some of these coppers stay patient with these idiots is a credit to them. I've watched quite a few of these videos and the comments are illuminating to say the least. Everyone not from America thinks they're certifiable lunatics. The Americans think it's great. They're a whole other breed over there.

I'm waiting for the advocates of BLACK NATIONALISM to step up and justify these senseless killings. TBPH, BLACK NATIONALISM is going to destroy the US. The main purpose of BLACK NATIONALISM is to propagate the Black person as the eternal victim and to justify their actions, no matter how evil.

They were using the fact that police were out in the open in mass numbers as an opportunity to murder. Nothing to do with race or creed.
