Everyone's desperate to prove that they have it worse than everyone else... like the Black Lives Matters activists who shut down Orlando vigils and more recently Toronto Pride because not enough attention was being paid to them. I've always found it a bit strange that various minority groups (and their "allies", or enablers) can simultaneously say that people outside their ingroup can't understand their lived experience, whilst also asserting that straight white men have absolutely zero possibility of hardship due to their inherent privilege. If they aren't straight white men, how could they possibly understand the lived experience of the straight white man?

It's established in society these days that if you're a straight white male, if you're critical of anyone who isn't a straight white male, you are privileged. It's a word created by the useless and unmotivated to censor those who have worked hard and got somewhere.

-PB This is the problem with the undermining of international law by the US (and allies) when they went into Iraq without a UN mandate. It emboldens countries like China to ignore the international legal system when it doesn't suit them either.

Even better the US is not a signatory (like China) to the maritime borders thingo and Australia is in it's own dispute with East Timor where we gypped them big time over oil and gas so it's not like we can talk. What a mess. Looking forward to the Phillipino president heading over there on his jetski as promised though.

Jill Meagher's murderer's conviction cut by 3 yearsRemember this case? It happened on an AFL Grand final week too, it showed: 1. the big town mentality of melbourne to have the folk unified by a murder mystery 2. the uselessness of social media when it comes to solving a crime 3. Criminality does not go away regardless of technology and evolution

The pulled into 5 pieces with horses death penalty.

-PB This is the problem with the undermining of international law by the US (and allies) when they went into Iraq without a UN mandate. It emboldens countries like China to ignore the international legal system when it doesn't suit them either. China was always going to ignore any ICJ outcome as it refuses to ratify it. The USA on the other hand, recognizes LOSA and as such has no choice but to adhere to the requirements of LOSA. It is therefore not immune to any rulings and can't just turn around and say that it doesn't recognize LOSA because it doesn't ike a particular ruling because it is a signatory. The point is, what we have to do from here. The answer is simple. USA, and allies, including Australia must engage Freedom of Navigation passages and overflights over areas that are illegally contested by China. This sends the message to China that the International Community do not recognize China's claims.

The far left has rushed to protect Muslims from mean words on the Internet while completely forgetting about the tragedy that is still unfolding while the_donald/"alt-right" has ramped up the shitposting while creaming themselves at another opportunity to brag about how "they were right about Muslims all along".
