As far as I can see the only war is the socialists inabilty to accept the democratic election result, and the lies and viotriol they're constantly spewing from all corners of the media and establishment trying to undermine his legitimate Presidency.

The truth is the socialist are deeply worried Trump will be incredibly successful. They are worried his economic policies will work, and he will achieve more for black people and women than they ever did. Part of their violent, infantile backlash is a deep rooted, primordial fear than a conservative President will do a better job than Obama did, and that it will harm Obamas legacy as the first black and greatest ever president ( whether that is true or not isnt important, whats important is the narrative)

No doubt Trump is suss, but the morally right thing do to here is give him the benefit of the doubt and unite behind the President, rather than continuing to play the identity card and sow paranoia, fear and resentment on the basis of gender, religion, race etc.

I've posted about his policies many times and they're fucking shit. Manufacturing jobs have been lost to cheaper labor and automation forever, the wall will be paid for by the American people (assuming it gets built at all) and despite what Trump says climate change is real and if he has his way, rising sea levels and increasingly erratic temperatures will kill millions worldwide and displace many more.

No one has a crystal ball and can see into the future. People thought Obama was going to be a raging success and unite everybody, but America is as divided and hated as ever. Its not up to you or me to decide if Trumps policies will work, time will decide the outcomes.

Millions of people from all over the world have marched in opposition to the agenda and rhetoric of President Donald Trump.

There have been more than 600 demonstrations in 60 countries around the world, expressing concern that women's rights will be eroded under Mr Trump.

In the United States, people packed into the country's capital for the Women's March on Washington, as hundreds of other marches happened across America.

A city official in Washington said the turnout estimate was at 500,000 people, more than double the initial predictions, forcing organisers to abandon plans to march towards the White House.

Figures from transport officials in Washington suggested more people attended the march than came for Mr Trump's inauguration.

By 11:00am, the city's subway system had carried 275,000 people, whereas only 193,000 had taken trips by the same time on Inauguration Day.

Interim DC Police Chief Peter Newsham said: "The crowd stretches so far that there's no room left to march".

So many people turned up to the march in Chicago that organisers cancelled a planned march through the city's downtown, while marches in New York and Philadelphia also experienced larger-than-expected crowds.

Organisers said 750,000 people attended the march in Los Angeles — a huge increase on the 150,000 originally expected.
