I read many of the Russian news sites. if you want Fake news, then take a look at them. but they are not the only ones. Even the trashy Australian Tabloids like the West Australian has lots of fake news.

Trump backs down on border wall funding
Donald Trump has indicated he will ditch plans to find cash for his border wall in this week's spending bill.
The president's close adviser, Kellyanne Conway, said funding for the wall would be left out of a budget measure that must pass by Friday.
Building the wall, paid for by Mexico, was a key campaign promise.
Democrats had threatened to block the bill if money was earmarked for the wall, so its omission may now avert a government shutdown.

There are many other ways the wall can be funded, such as the 650 Billion defence Budget.

Trump has re-popularised the term 'fake news', he didn't invent it. 

The wall was part of his 'first 100 days' promise.

And, I was referring to Trump being the idiot, not you.

Also I don't let the media determine what I do & do not think - I actually truly believe that Trump is an idiot. That is, not someone smart at all.

In the context of the term fake news being 'repopularised', Trump is the ultimate hypocrite.

He said he will get it moving and he did by signing a presidential decree and start the tendering processes.

So it is going. It hasn't been dropped.

What is silly is your expectation that the wall should be erected or at least started within 100 days. It's never ever that simple to get a major infrastructure project of this magnitude started within 100 days. 

The measuring stick most people would use, is having it started within his first term of 4 years. 

The Fremch election in the next couple of weeks will be crucial for the EU.

There looks like the potential for a silver lining for disappointed Hilary supporters, they might still get to celebrate the glass ceiling being smashed if Le Pen wins. It seems unlikely though.

I do find it weird that Macron married someone something like 25 years older than him.

Why would Hilary supporters celebrate anything about the French elections? Le Pen is a Nationalist Conservative with a political ideology closer to Trump than Clinton.

FBI chief James Comey fired by Trump

President Donald Trump has fired the director of the FBI over his handling of the inquiry into Hillary Clinton's emails, the administration says.
The White House shocked Washington by announcing that James Comey "has been terminated and removed from office".
But Democrats said he was fired because the FBI was investigating alleged links between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The move came as it emerged Mr Comey gave inaccurate information about Mrs Clinton's emails to Congress last week.

President Trump wrote in a letter to Mr Comey that he agreed with US Attorney General Jeff Sessions' recommendation that "you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau".
Mr Sessions said the Department of Justice was "committed to a high level of discipline, integrity, and the rule of law", and "a fresh start is needed".
The White House said the search for a successor would begin immediately.
Mr Comey was addressing FBI agents in Los Angeles when he was handed a note by one of his team informing him he had just been fired.
The 56-year-old - who was four years into his 10-year term as FBI director - broke the news to his staff.

FBI row: Trump warns Comey over leaks to media

US President Donald Trump has warned fired former FBI chief James Comey against leaking material to the media.
In a tweet on Friday he said Mr Comey had "better hope that there are no 'tapes' of our conversations".
Mr Comey, who had been leading an inquiry into alleged Russian meddling in the US election, was fired by the president on Tuesday.
Mr Trump has since insisted he was told by Mr Comey that he was not under investigation.

President Donald Trump asked FBI chief James Comey to end an inquiry into links between his ex-national security adviser and Russia, US media report.

"I hope you can let this go," Mr Trump reportedly told Mr Comey after a White House meeting in February, according to a memo written by the ex-FBI director.

The memo was written immediately after the meeting, a day after Michael Flynn resigned, according to US media. 

The White House has denied the report in a statement. 

"The president has never asked Mr Comey or anyone else to end any investigation, including any investigation involving General Flynn," it said.

Mr Flynn was forced out in February after he misled the vice-president about his conversations with Russia's ambassador before Mr Trump took office. 

The latest Russian twist, first reported by the New York Times, comes a week after Mr Trump fired Mr Comey over his handling of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while at the state department.

Besieged from all sides, the Trump administration appointed former FBI director Robert Mueller as a special counsel to oversee the federal investigation into allegations Russia and Donald Trump's campaign collaborated to influence the 2016 presidential election.

The appointment came as Democrats insisted ever more loudly that someone outside Mr Trump's Justice Department must handle the politically charged investigation.

An increasing number of Republicans, too, have joined in calling for Congress to dig deeper, especially after Mr Trump fired FBI director James Comey who had been leading the bureau's probe.

"My decision [to appoint a special counsel] is not the finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted. I have made no such determination," Deputy Attorney-General Rod Rosenstein said in a statement.
