There's obviously been speculation for a while, but this is a ball-breaker when members were last night told of Cooper's decision to renew sponsorship for the 2012/13 HAL season.

Still seems like a wasted opportunity for the FFA to get some government funding to help start up the FFA cup, a separate comp for the government to push its message which needs funding to get it off the ground, which won't impact any of the existing sponsors for the HAL & would have a far greater reach into the community.

I wonder if the advertisement said "Coopers Home Brew" as opposed to "Coopers" would circumvent the rule, given that home brew does not contain alcohol when it is sold.
BTW: is it just me, does it seem Buckley has his mouth open in every photo?

Surely, with this being the internet and all, this thread title should read Adelaide to
loose
Coopers sponsorship. That is all.
