Does anyone know what Japanese high school football is like, know that it is the major competition over there but am keen to find out what type of level it is, as well as what the coaching is like as well as their facilities?

A couple of seasons ago we had the national high school champions here in Hiroshima. They actually played and beat a combined high school rep team from Australia quite convincingly. My Japanese friends told me they beat the Australian youth team but they misunderstood

Would this be one of the U19 schoolboys teams, or the other teams where they get the schoolboys from.
