He said he'd improved a lot (he has), he said he hoped to finish the year in the top 10 (nothing wrong with being ambitious) and he said he has a lot of work to do (which is 100% true).

Same story with his call on Hewitt's post game interview yesterday, I think the quote was something along the lines of "could anyone sook more than Lleyton Hewitt?"

Having later seen the interview Hewitt pretty much just talks up how good Tipsarevic is and says despite not doing a whole lot wrong he was just trying to weather the storm towards the end, admits he was outclassed and credits Tipsarevic which isn't what I'd define a sook.

Also channel 7 can FOAD, I doubt anyone in Australia really gives a fuck about Gajdosova, once you get past Hewitt, Tomic and Stosur public knowledge and interest veers off pretty sharply. The fact womens tennis is shown above such a quality match up is ridiculous, and the fact Henri Leconte doesn't commentate every game is an outrage.

Public knowledge of Hewitt and Tomic is pretty average and it's just downhill from there :lol: Nobody gives a shit about women's tennis unless the girl in question is leggy and bronzed.

The fact that we missed the bulk of what will be one of the best matches of the tournament because they wanted to show some chick whose name the commentators can't even pronounce properly get thrashed is appalling.

This bloody obsession over Aussie tennis players is not good. We all know they crap, maybe except for Tomic, so all this hyping them up and so on needs to stop. Players like Sam also need to stop being sooks and choking and starting being able to finish off games and reach that potential that they have.

I always want to see the Australian's win, even when Hewitt was at the height of his dickhead phase and even now with Tomic, but there is just something hilarious in watching Stosur choke, how the fuck did she win a grand slam?
