Another point to raise
What if tomic played someone else other than the world number 1? When he said he was playing on one leg?
He should have played on last night, lost the last 2 sets 6-0 6-0 (which wouldn't happen because of his serve), it was for his vanity that he didnt stand a chance that he defaulted
Goodness knows the match the night before serena throwing around a 16 year old girl around like a rag doll, the crowd couldnt care less
What really sucked for the crowd? How they waited (an hour and a half to get centre court ready)and paid full price, it equated to the same as paying 25 dollars to watch a 45 minute movie. It was a fizzer, a lemon

What's the point of channel 7 having a 'Megawall' if can't access it?

The night schedule tonight is absolute dross
Stosur- ok
But they are clutching at straws when south african born Matthew ebden takes centre court against the number 32 seed
Edit - the megawall, its their stylised coverage. Its as perfunctory as believing we can access those mechs on Guillermo del Toro's "Pacific Rim"

I really do see Pironkova winning tonight. But I can see Stosur choking in prime time TV viewing . If TA wanted Stosur to win, they would schedule this during the day. Only thing that will help Stosur is her winning run in Hobart. Edited by helloworld1992: 15/1/2014 05:50:30 PM Pironkova did win the leadup tournament in western sydney, so shes got some form going in And listening to ao radio, they just interviewed mona barthel. She sounds like a pleasant lady I havent seen her play recently- has she done anything for that acne of her's? Edited by condemned666: 15/1/2014 06:40:17 PM

Henri calling La Monf, you can't beat that.
I tell you though, if both 7 and Fox cut away to the Kyrgios/Paire match while Gael's still going there'll be hell to pay.

 Alice Cornet had a decent day. Won her match against Giorgi 6-3 4-6 6-4, but what's remarkable is that Cornet hit just 5 winners to Giorgi's 28. Of course Cornet has ony 29 unforced errors compared to Giorgi's 73

Watching Krygios is great, fully got the crowd into it.

I watched a fair bit of the Monfils match earlier, and am now watching the Kyrgios match, and this one is much more exciting. But I assume that's because of the heat earlier in the day.
Would love to see Monfils vs Kyrgios

this Paire guy is a huge cunt(27th seed), screaming and shouting when he wins points against kyrgios even though it is completely obvious to everyone that kyrgios can barley walk and is a massive outsider to win (hes only 18) . typified by the fact he cant even jump when he serves.
