I thought it was a bit dangerous when the players had to try and head crosses in the air when it was dark.

This video should be a must see for coaches and fans.

A mate of mine, a top sprinter in Australia, always refers to Japan and Korea not producing fast sprinters.

This video illustrates the fact that Ronaldo was 3 metres slower over there turf than the Spanish national champion over 25 metres. Over 100 metes this may equate to about 10 metres slower. Ronaldo isn't that quick compared to track and field athletes.

However, when they did the change of direction exercise, Ronaldo was 0.5 seconds faster than the Spanish sprint champion!


This is something our players struggle with in Asia. Asian players are often quicker in directional change than Aussie players.
