Batman Returns was an improvement on Batman bar Nicholson's acting as the Joker Dark Knight was better than Batman Begins because Harvey Dent and the Joker are the best characters

I think "The Unforgiven II" is an overall improvement on "The Unforgiven" even though the solo in "The Unforgiven" is far better.

Firstly, Aliens is not better than Alien.
secondly, Silence of the Lambs is not a sequel to Manhunter. Just because they are movies based on novels by the same author from a trilogy, does not make them sequels. Silence of the Lams is the first in the series followed by Hanabil then red dragon (even though it is a prequel)which neither were better than Lambs.
Desperado, better than El Mariachi, but Once upon a time not as good as Desperado.
