Yes I thought so.

If Aussiesrus is viewing this, some of these techniques are taught in Coerver.

Interesting to know which of these techniques other coaches use?

FFA like to always do everything in game related situations, but I still like to use these in isolation at times.

ATM yours truly and our club seem to be assuming favoured status from state FFA coaching department, even though we still like doing some isolated technical work. Then again we've really enjoyed a lot of state FFA training sessions lately, passing it straight on to our club and CFP players.

We are lucky enough to have a couple of decent FFA instructors down here ATM and a lot of club coaches and TDs are wasting them as a resource.

This is a copy of a very useful video one of our club coaches has found on the internet. It demonstrates a number of ball techniques we do at CFP and at our club.

I've tried to explain them in the Community Football Program thread, but one is never sure how much is understood by written instructions. The video explains techniques better than words.

Some of them are in the Chelsea Academy Drill, and one of the now defunct UEFA videos, using cones for dribbling. Since I'm having a lot more to do with the FFA Skills Acquisition Program and the Skilleroos, I try to do more and more training ground practice in game like scenarios.
Also, if I end up in a proposed partnership arrangement with FFA, initiated by them, then I'll be expected to toe the party line. However, these individual exercises still serve a purpose IMO.
