Just translated some of the comments made in regards to Amini made on a photo of him on Facebook. -What do you think to the Pumuckl Vegleichen? -Would it make you proud red if you through playful highly the yellow wall services slightly could dye? -@ Mustafa: What would you say if you come out from the players' tunnel to the left behold in the South and the light yellow and black wig with a loud Pumuckel? hau pure young you have to be in the starting lineup and the new Shinji!-hello mustafa! do you have a tattoo if so, what motive? -to mustafa, I would like to kick it with you, that would be feasible? -Mustafa amini you've ever looked in the mirror or do you like the hairstyle really? -to Mustafa Amini: Mustafa Hello how are you feeling so in Germany and in your new home? did you already settled in Dortmund? Now for the real question for you: Can you speak German at all? if so I would really look and how and why did you come you decided to Dortmund though your native Australia a couple of thousand miles away, and how you enjoyed yourself that you have an offer from Borussia Dortmund have 09? Would appreciate greatly if you answer my questions sometimes. Kind regards and Tim Fan -Musa Amin: is your hair as a wig? Sun ala "Dante". Could be .... I think to the cult -Mustafa Amini - would you look at the masterful title can shave the head? -Amini: Knowing the series Pumuckl really well in Australia, or is this link into your hair first in Germany coming up? - Amini: Can you in the years to develop into an elite player at BVB?-@ Mustafa Amini: How you would feel `s, if sold at the stadium red wigs, and we support you with it ;) -Mustafa: it feels like a football instead of a huge impact as to come dortmund and how to find your way around? so are not just 635 km as in mani! -to Mustafa Amini: How many years and where did you start playing football? -Mustafaaaaaa -Mustafa: You dominated the Afghan language? If so ... What is dialect? -Mustafa Amini, how do you like germany and the German people? - Mustafa Amini your change is already clear for over a year. Have you used the time in Australia to prepare yourself for the change and if so how?-Mustafa Amini , did you know Borussia Dortmund before the team got into contact with you? if yes, what did you associate with this club? There are hundreds more but cbf... Main ideas i'm seeing, -They love the hair -Some think he has a big future -Some think he should be in the first team -There seems to be a VERY big concern about him being Islamic, and having to fast during his career -One guy noted that he has improved A LOT since they last saw him trial. Sorry if this is a bit of a troll thread... I had good intentions, but the comments from the fans weren't quite as insightful as i'd hoped. http://www.facebook.com/BVBorussiaDortmund09?ref=ts -It's the 2nd most recent status update, for those interested in checking more of the 450 comments.

That's good if he's fast during his career.

Good to see but taken with a grain of salt. I remember someone comparing Ruka to van persie maybe.
Bachar Houli an AFL player played a full game while on a fast a couple of weeks ago. So it can be done at elite level.

The big thing for me is that the club are putting him out there alot in their press releases, social media etc he is a very clear part of the first team squad if their pr is any indicator. Clubs usually dont parade around a player then throw him in the reserves all year.

I don't think it's that big a deal tbh, some of the worlds top players are Muslim but I suppose not all are strict followers, plus Sahin is Muslim and he was one of Dortmund's stars. But there are plenty of top Muslim players at elite levels such as: Nasri, Ribery, Zlatan, Papiss Cisse, Benzema, Ozil, Khedira and plenty more, a massive chunk of the French national team are Muslim. Add to the list of Muslim players, Toure (both), Sagna, Anelka, Dzeko, Kalou, Abidal. Religion shouldnt be an issue and i dont see why they should be concerned Heine. no need to clutch at straws.

They only have to fast during the day. A footballer wouldn't want to be eating lots the day of a game anyway. Maybe just big meals at night. Islam isn't the kind of pseudo religion many of the Christianity sects have become.

There is not a massive list of players each year playing shit because of it. - Ironi Kiryat Shmona is an Isreali team so I presume most of the team practices Islam and they have made it to the Champions league play-off round during Ramadan. - Frédéric Kanouté is another who fasted since he was 22 and played for Seville till the end of last year aged 34 playing full matches while fasting. He is so devoted that he refused to where kits with their sponsor 888.com on them because they were a gambling company Edited by Joffa: 10/8/2012 06:47:56 PM

I love this obviously bad translation Quote:-Mustafa: You dominated the Afghan language? If so ... What is dialect? I haven't seen the original but I presume it is meant to say "what dialect" but how it is written makes me think of Also I don't think they worry about Islam, which comments refer to his religion anyway? there are many players in Germany with Turkish heritage (i.e. Gundogan) so I am sure they have experienced it before Edited by moofa: 9/8/2012 09:00:56 PM
