Old news.

Summary; four games, no wins v bolivian pub teams.

What a pointless and wasteful exercise.

Exactly, absolutely no point playing football matches - distrcts these young men from chasing tail and playing FIFA12.

The thing about football - the important thing about football - is its not just about football.

Why fly to bolivia when they could have caught a bus to blacktown with same outcome?

Burning up precious sockah money on junkets.

not the same outcome at all.

the team travelled far from their families, to a country with a completely different culture, played in completely different conditions to what they are accustomed to and generally taken out of their comfort zone.

good preparation for future tournaments across asia for the boys is the way I see it.

gives them an appreciation of how to play after long haul travel and also recognise how hard it is to adjust to foreign conditions.

spending money on youth development is not burning up money. you cant gain some experiences without paying for it.

The tour was funded by the AIS, Victoria University and the Aspire Academy from Qatar. No problems about burning soccer money as I see it

I resemble that remark!

Blacktown nowdays is more like travelling through Sri Lanka on the way to Pakistan via India.
