yep word is he has rejected once, but maybe he's asking for more or they feel the need to go over & prove they're serious.
heskey would certainly get the league a different kind of exposure. maybe not for the right reasons, but more people will certainly know about the league if one of the more famous players on the internet was here.

Does that mean a striker from the UK or a striker based in UK:
Could be John Carew possibly who is without a club at moment I think. There had been talk of Carew a long time ago being associated with the jets I vaguely recall (could be wrong)

Possible that it's Kewell as he currently is off contract and in the UK

Everyone gave Jeffers a chance and Heskey has a far greater pedigree than him. 62 caps for England and only just released from a premier league club + has a cult following. Will be a solid signing if true
