Clean sheet for Vukovic, 2-0 win. Skoko was there for a ceremonial kick-off thing.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Leckie won't be needed until November 10. I trust that's enough time to get over the injury.

Just checked an I hadn't realised Irvine hasn't played much of late. Long season still.

Langerak bench with the second keeper starting. Hmmm. Gonna be a really tough time to break through. Mainz are without Adler for months a while Bochum, Kaiserslautern and Darmstadt have either injured first keepers for the extended future or poor form.

Mooy away at Anfield at 01:00 AEST surely the pick of the Aussies Abroad action tonight.
JMac is first up at 10:00pm AEST and will likely get a late run, then Leckie at home against Hamburg at 00:30am, Rogic v Kilmarnock at 01:00 (maybe), QPR, Millwall and Bristol City also all at 01:00 in the Championship, Ansell should start away in Madeira at 02:00, and finally Irvine is at home v Nottingham Forest at 03:30. Who have I missed?

Not surprising, might end up a bore fest like the LPvMU game. Cheers!

Jeez, Anfield's a bit of a library as well. Maclaren didn't get any minutes.

Ansell travels through Cristiano Ronaldo Airport and lands on the bench to start.

Soft pen, but so stupid to tug his shirt when the ball wasn't even going their way.

McGowan starting away to Al Ain. His club is rock bottom, but evidently not because of defensive issues.

1-0 for Liverpool, a miss hit header played Sturridge onside and he pipped the keeper.

+x1-0 for Liverpool, a miss hit header played Sturridge onside and he pipped the keeper. 2-0, Mooy on the wrong side of his man defending a corner, who heads it in.
