http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2020/11/09/oh-brother-deni-juric-steps-bid-follow-tomis-socceroos-path

Article on Deni Juric. He starts every game for his club in Croatia’s top division. 4 goals in 10 games. Surely he’s got to be in strong contention for the Olyroos squad.

He’s hitting form at the right time with the Olympics on the horizon.

Should've had another as well, but Christie stuffed up the shot. Celtic's best at the moment. They've got fickle fans though, wanted to sell him earlier in the year, now they're calling him their saviour

Sound like the muppet Celtic fans on this site, all their “he’s not good enough” bullshit. No fucking clue.

If he can become a club legend there it’ll be pretty cool

Hes already close to it after his heroics in last the scottish cup final in 2018. Also scored wonder  goal to clinch the title for them in 2015- 16. Id probably call him a cult player /hero atm not quite legend.

Just checked up on Dean Bouzanis, haven't seen him mentioned here. So far he's started all 5 of Sutton Utd's games in the Conference, and they've won 4 of them. Still very early days but they're definitely in contention for promotion to League 2.

Also, Greek 2nd Division kicks off in 2 weeks so I'm looking forward to seeing how Xanthi go.

A long, long way from being described by Benitez as the best goalkeeper for his age.

Massive. Winning POTM at 22 in the championship is phenomenal. Brightest young talent for us at the moment. Hopefully it means he can kick onto the PL

I’ve never heard of him but Gian Mendez made his debut in the Spanish third tier on the weekend. He got 10 minutes at the end of a 2-0 win, the teams first win of the season. Seems the squad was heavily impacted by COVID with only 15 fit players.

According to soccerway, last season he played in the Spanish 4th tier. There he started 12 and came off the bench in 10 games.

Mileusnic starting in a cup match.
Millar scored for Shrewsbury but it's only an EFL cup match.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Injuries and low fitness levels are the main gripes. That being said, so far this season his fitness levels are noticeably much higher then previous years. Hopefully that continues, along with no more injuries.

Full game and highest rating in his team on my app for Mooy in a 1-1 draw with Beijing, meaning a loss in the league's finals third place playoff on aggregate.

I watched the last 25 mins of Mooy's game & he set up 2 golden goal scoring chances - both should've been scored. His passing was top shelf. Hulk still one of the most selfish players I've seen. They really missed Oscar

He was formerly apart of Valencia, and was close or was in the frame going into the U17 WC in 2015 with Arzani, Brimmer, Armenakas and co.  Think he got injured, and has been plodding along in the lower leagues of Spain for quite some time. looks like he has finally gotten some game-time. and made a move to a higher division. whether that be due to Covid or not.

Ive just done a bit of digging, it turns out that Gian Mendez' club AD Merida have a few Aussies on their books at the moment.

They seem to all be either on the fringes of the first team or playing weekly in the U23's. Not sure if there is some sort of connection to Australia through ownerships or not. But this is a very well positioned club actually playing in the THIRD tier of Spanish football. Not the TERCERA division. So these lads are at a pretty good place at the moment.
