He got half a game and they lost.

Played quite well though. Commentators were talking him up big time. Slotted right in at that level, created a lot.

The funniest part was when the commentators were talking about his move from WSW to MC.. "It's like Danny Ings going from Burnley to Liverpool, Melbourne City are the biggest club in the A-League".

He was clearly the best player in that game IMO. Just needs to get his confidence at a new club and he should start dominating the assists tally for the league. 

But has he got the support in attack to get those assists, he can have all the creativity in the world but if the squad hasn't hit the finishers he might not get rewarded

Watching the highlights it looks like the LB who played ahead of gersbach was partly at fault for the first two goals. First goal let the striker track in behind him and second let the striker round him and get the cross in.
