Cahill a very good chance of being awarded the MVP.

here you can see Giannou's goal and assist. His goal is the first highlight. Good movement and a tidy finish. His assist is the highlight that starts at 0:58. He gets on the end of the through ball with the keeper coming out and he is able to slip it between the keeper and a defender for an easy finish for his teammate.

Interview after the game, if you read a few of the things I have posted on him I say his name Translates to John, this seems to be when it recognizes the name and Yannou is translating the Greek characters directly, when I look up news on him I use Γιάννου instead of the English spelling as you miss most articles if you do.

http://www.gazzetta.gr/football/article/556516/giannoy-hasame-ti-sygkentrosi-mas

Quote:
Yannou: "We lost our concentration"
The Apostle Yannou believes that defeat Panionios on Kalloni due to the fact that 'Panionios' lost their concentration.

Panionios was ahead in the score up to 75 ', but within four minutes came the ... up and down and left to defeat the "Cleanthes Vikelidis." This was because 'Panionios' lost concentration in the last 15-minutes, as told by the apostle John.

Specifically, what he said:

The final result: "We're very happy. The last minutes of tired, I do not know exactly what pathame, ate two goals and we lost the match. I think that was difficult race, but we had to take the three points, "said first Apostolis John.

About being concerned about the defeat: "Certainly. We wanted the three points because with these three points we would be well to score. So is football. We look at the next game. "

For what it considers to blame unsuccessful: "Probably the merger. The last 15 minutes as I said we lost our concentration, leading to accept a goal. Bend their heads and there came the second goal. "

For if it lacked the passion and determination: "It definitely was not our best game. So as he had come but I think the score could keep the score. Eventually it seemed that they wanted more players of Kalloni and finally got the three points. We look at the next game to get the three points we lost to them. "

vidosic, kinda just gave away he and Bozanic are in the next squad. I on my phone so I can quote it in but he did say that after they play on Sunday they have a 20 hour flight together. No surprise really but I though I should mention it. if you want to find it Vidosic just re-tweeted something from Bozanic. go into that conversation and you should see it.

Kruse got 1min last night and tonight Langerak, Rogic, Schwarzer on the bench and Holland starting. Has Schwarzer ever played in the CL group stage or beyond? Here's to hoping Chelsea win tonight and in Basel for him to get a game against Bucharest.

Would be ironic for him to play at the highest level yet in his club career straight after retiring from the national team.

once again son was the lowest rated starting player on whoscored.com.....hmmm he looks flashy but gets disposessed a lot and doesn't make much contribution in defence and can make bad decisions. itll be interesting to watch his battle with kruse this year - son has more flare though and is a lot younger so has a very good chance still my fingers are crossed for kruse. Didn't help that he didn't do more last game. He should have scored

Son is one of the most overrated players in Germany. Like Ashley Young, he has speed and that's about it. He is very lucky with his positioning and it makes him look good. Right place at the right time by luck and hogs the ball.

By no means is Kruse a lot better, he still has stuff to work on, but Son is a really lucky player and I'm amazed Liverpool were interested in him but as they bought Downing and Henderson it doesn't really surprise me come to think of it.

better for their system maybe

mind u a lot of players go to europe and get the fitness and plaging weight sorted. When they initially pack on the kilos during the loading phase their form drops dramatically but then they come back better than ever.this could be the story with rogic

disappointing to see Austria get turned over again. Holland didn't get a terrible rating (whoscored.com) but Raul Garcia got a 9 as Atleti's CAM and on one of the goals Holland gets held off the ball pretty easily. on a better note he got his sides 2nd most passes, most tackles, 2nd most intercepts and played a key pass (something we need from our Socceroos defensive mids).

I have been a defendant of Holland quite a bit in terms of Socceroos but that was when he was in good club form. I think he should still be in the squad but he needs a change. He is only playing because the only composition for his starting spot did his knee earlier in the season. If you look at what the manager had been saying and who has been dropped he would have been if there was another decent CDM in the squad. If you look at our other defensive mids they didn't really break through until 24-25. even Milligan with his rise around 2006 had a few slow years. Hopefully Holland's coach from last year still has interest in him, Austria will let him go on the cheap and before the WC he is lifting the 2.bundesliga title.

atletico still have a pretty strong team, and James isn't the biggest CDM getting around. But the comments his manager have been making about him lately have been dissapointing and I am suprised he has still been playing regularly, at the same time most of the team has been poor this season.
