+xgerbach can probably play on either side. I wish smith could get some game time somewhere. I think he can be as good as leckie but just need to string a few seasons together Honestly think he should go to the aleague

There are some moments of greatness and others where you realise that's why those teams are in that league. It still appears very unlikely but it'd be great to see someone get a go in France

Leckie was a lot better second half, but agree with some on here those commentators were woeful.

Iredale got a brace on debut for Heereveen's U19s. Only youth football but good to see him playing https://twitter.com/schveenjeugd?lang=en

Speaking of Heereveen, Rojas scored over the weekend. Not sure if it was mentioned, haven't read back today.

Ended up getting an IPTV subscription for my android box a few weeks ago. This weekend I was switching between a lot of the Aussie boys matches, sport channels from all over the world. Android box $90, IPTV $70 a year, definitely worth it. Does buffer at times but generally pretty good.

Smith isn't playing in the premier league, which is unfortunate but not all that surprising. Far more concerning is that Gersbach can't seem to get a game in Norway. I mean, the anti-Smith fervour reached such a fever pitch around here that Gersbach was hailed as some kind of master savior for the national team, so surely it's more than a little concerning that he struggles to get into the squad at Rosenborg? Also irritating that Sains and Jedinak weren't in their respective squads. Dammit, it started to look kinda promising for our players in the last couple of weeks, but now it's pretty much back to the status quo. Deflating.

The smith move was weird, he was going somewhere that already had a top class left back who was the captain... Gersbach was at least seen as potential first choice till they signed some young gun... also Smith went to Rosenberg and they weren't interested... but they wanted Gersbach?

gersbach has been part of a squad rotation playing every 2nd game. He has played the lesser important games. Being out of the squad today means one of three possibilities
1. He has dropped from 2nd choice to 3rd 2. He is injured/sick 3. He has been promoted from 2nd choice to first
lets all hope it is 3

For $160 bucks, that's pretty damn cheap to get live football.

Luongo has been given the captaincy as Nedum Onouha will be out for some time with injury. What a step up this season.

Oar not in the squad Amini starting away to Nordsjaelland, should be a good test. New signing Kristian Brymora scores the winner for Millwall U23s at Bramall Lane. A strike from Australian recruit Kristian Brymora was all that separated the young Lions and Sheffield United U23s on Monday afternoon. The centre-forward, who joined Millwall on a short-term deal earlier this month, swept home after latching onto a pass from strike partner Kris Twardek in the 54th minute. It was a deserved victory for the visitors, with The Lions striking the woodwork no less than five times during the match.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Brymora was actually doing really well for the Jets last pre-season. He went on their Asian tour and got lots of game time and was quite impressive. He scored a few goals too, if I remember correctly. It was frustrating when he never got a real go after that.
I think he just needs a coach who trusts him. When Miller was trusting his ability, he did really well. Hopefully he can keep this up and find himself on the fringes of the first team.

Was he that poor kid that got treated poorly by Jones and by Clayton Zane in one particular match? Remember that moment i think it was against Perth in Perth last year where a kid before he was going to go on the pitch received a lecture of notes before going on (maybe for a good 10 minutes) it was cringeworthy. I'm glad he's out of that toxic environment in Newcastle.

he finished up being rated 78th in the championship last year. Suffice to say the whoscored rating system leaves a lot to be desired. Still nice though!

A full midweek match day of German football today and tomorrow.
English league cup could feature Ryan, Wright, Jedinak, Lyden, Mooy. Most will be rested I feel. Durch cup and Serie B on too.

Borrello on the bench Elder on the bench Cup matches... Edwards starts against Rangers again Holland starts, returned from injury Bournemouth v Brighton - Smith starts, Ryan not in the squad Lydon on the bench, but no Jedinak (?) Wright on the bench (vs Stoke) Mooy on the bench (vs Palace)
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Kaiserslautern losing 2:0 at home to Aue. Just terrible. The coach will be sacked guaranteed. Borrello not getting a run which is annoying as he's brought in 19 year olds without any top grade experience. Borrello has played enough A League and Champions League to be given a go from the bench at least.
