Leckie was losing his balance after cutting inside but managed to get a good shot away and the keeper had no chance. Great to see.

Babalj was a 76th minute sub in a cup match.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xLeckie scores a beautifully placed curve shot. He's absolutely on fire. 4 goals in 5 games. What a beast

the 2 reasons we need to play a back three is 1. we don't have wingers that score regularly enough 2. we don't have good fullbacks who can defend
We have a few good enough options at lb and leckie and kruse are both scoring pretty regularly. If we can find a good enough rb somewhere we no longer have to play voodoo

Surely this means play Leckie in a front three. Surely!

Goals have dried up for the Socceroos. Leckie scoring may go a long way to alleviating this issue.

Leckie getting full segments on Sky. 4 goals and 2 assists for 8 of the Berlin goals. He's got the be used further up for Australia.

Whole team gets penalized if you concede and rewarded if you score also it doesn't count his 2 assists, neither does espn? Perhaps they were a cup game even still he is the 6th highest rated player in the bundesliga equal 3rd in goals he also defends very well from the front generating 3 turnovers per game. Probably in the top 5 for his position On the negative he is 4th worst in the league for poor first touches per game and 18th worst for losing control

Favourable draw with Bournemouth hosting Middlesbrough and Bristol city hosting Palace in the league cup.

He lost balance while scoring.

Definitely would cause some troubles for the opposition with his press up front - and is in great form for goals at the moment. Would allow Kruse to play wider at RM where he is more effective in putting in crosses.

I just think how much better our current roos would be if not for injury and going to week asian leagues. Milligan, spira, sains, rhys, herd, kruse and possible tombides (did I miss any) should all be playing at the highest level

The fact he can have one of the worst first touches in the league yet be one of the most effective players in his position is just astounding (You wouldn't want him as a blueprint for player development but I love watching him). He would struggle in any other position though and I really hope Ange lets him play with some bloody freedom in the next 2-4 games!!

So when I first saw this article I thought this was referring to his coach not being happy with him but after him not even making the bench for the cup it is apparent he is not allowed to play. Another site has him on the injury list as not playable so it looks like a similar situation to Pasquali. You would think coming from Liverpool it would be all sorted.

Birighitti was in goal while NAC Breda lost 4:3 to third level team Achilles '29. Cannot find any highlights to see how Birighitti played.

You would think coming from Liverpool it would be all sorted. type your messagewhat/who's the article about Yeah sorry, I had the article open when writing that so was kinda taking context from it. It is about Dylan Ryan at Willem II. He is a 17 year old who transferred from Liverpool at the start of the year. He was involved in pre-season games but is not able to play now, not even playing youth team games. Similar to Pasquali except he was epected to be getting chances with the firsts at this stage. Australian talent Willem II is still not entitled to play
Dylan Ryan has been in Willem II for over half a year, but he has only trained and practiced matches. The 17-year-old Australia is still not entitled to play. The reason is not known; Willem II does not want to explain the 'Ryan case'.
The defender already trains with the first selection. Ryan left Liverpool in early January and signed a three-year contract with the Tilburgers. The Australian youth international also has a European passport, so that Willem II does not have to pay him an exorbitant non-EU salary.
