Mabil scored in a cup match and D. McGowan was brought on late in the second half. Bulut was subbed on at half time, club's second on the ladder
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Bochum have sacked their coach. I expect minimal change for Kruse. Hopefully the new coach likes wide men.

Seriously I wish Popovic would be in bundesliga 2. With what he's achieved it'd be really interesting to see how he would fare.

Full match for Popovic and assisted a 92nd minute winner according to transfermarkt. Might've been fouled in the box actually.

Has James Meredith been playing regularly for Millwall? Any reason as to why he cant get a call up into the wider socceroos team?

Fran Karacic opens the scoring from RB in a 5-1 win for Croatia U21s against the Czech Republic in European U21 Championship qualifying.
I know this doesn't block him from representing Australia at senior level, but I wonder if he's now cup tied for the next Olympics?

Scratch that, he's too old by seven months anyway.

Borrello on the bench. Kaiserslautern currently 1:0 down. I expect he'll be brought on. What I'd do to see Spiranovic at Kaiserslautern. They're a shambles at the back.

Borrello got the last 5. He helped them hold on for a 1:1 draw.

Of course Langerak wasn't going to play tonight but Fernandez and Oier are in such form or have experience that he won't get last them. Shocking move in hindsight. It looked really promising but Fernandez has cemented his spot.

I hope langerak and ryan both succeed but at the moment its insane that langerak is talked about as a serious alternative to ryan who is 1st choice in the epl, worked his way into the starting lineup several times at valencia but got injured each time, and was 2 time winner of gk of the year in brugge

^ compared to Langerak who can’t even make matchday squads behind two average GKs.

It seems like our keepers like to make disastrous moves right when they get into great form.

+xHas James Meredith been playing regularly for Millwall? Any reason as to why he cant get a call up into the wider socceroos team? He has started all 11 Championship games at LB and subbed off three times. If you want to check up on a player use transfermarkt.com and search for the player. It is not always correct with formations and player positions, but has a lot of good information.

We have 5 goalkeepers, 6 if Federicci is included despite being injured, who have the ability to reasonably well for the Socceroos. It should come down to who is playing and in form. At the moment it is 3 of Ryan, Jones, Vukovic and Birighitti. Jones is on the outer for some reason, maybe his choice, maybe not. So it should be Ryan, Vukovic and Birighitti.

Last season though I would have picked Langerak, as before the Genk move Ryan wasn't even playing while Langers was. Even after the move I still would have picked Langerak as personally I would rate Buli 2 higher (although obviously not higher than the Europa League). But either way, it's irrelevant now that Ryan is playing in the EPL while Mitch hasn't played a match for Levante.
