Rogic as a player is good but he is hardly the complete player.I would be asking why is he not being selected and why is he rarely for away games, Socceroos included. I would guess his lack of off the ball work in the eyes of coaches is a major reason.

He does have moments of frustration and seems to stand off from an opportunity. He appears moody. Not sure what's up with his at times. I think he really lacks stamina. He needs to run marathons.

Rogic with a good take and pass. Deflection sees him get a solid shot away which is blocked by a crowd of Bayern players in the 5 yard box.

Couple of good turns by Rogic. They created some space.  Would have been interesting to see a full strength Celtic who actually care. Lethargic and went out beaten. At least make a game of it.

He needs to leave Celtic, it was good for him at first but he is just going backwards as a player now. Also Celtic need a better fitness coach, how Rogic can still barely run after 60 minutes is criminal.

Not everyone has athletic ability. Nearly every footballer does though. Rogic is just that fucking good with the football he has made it without the natural athletic ability. He will never have what you think he lacks. That just needs to be accepted. He can't play in a team that presses. He has no explosive speed. He lopes. Bit like my brother's dog. I love that dog and I love Rogic.

Rogic is a liability in some ways as he gives away so much ball and allows teams to punish us on the counter.  He can also be lazy and fade in and out of games, there are times when he is completely ineffective but then he can pop up in the final minute and score a screamer.

Annoying as this is the lack of fitness and fading in and out of games that were the main flaws in his game back when he was at the Mariners. If he wants to get to the top either he himself or someone close to him should have had him working on it or one or then Celtic coaches he’s had.

Players can reinvent themselves and become much stronger and/ or fitter in one offseason with the right work and it’s something I think everyone here has been hoping he’d for for a while. Whilst that may even stunt a bit of his technical growth it’ll make him a far more rounded and appealing player to have in your squad. At the moment he’s really what you’d call a luxury player.

Rogic has plenty of endurance. That's not his issue. He doesn't have an explosive change of pace. That can only be improved a little bit. That's what I meant by athletic ability. With the ball Rogic kind of fakes having this, it's quite remarkable. He extends his strides but pretty much maintains the pace, this let's him get away from players with the ball at his feet. Without the ball this doesn't really work. Players who have the ball can easily judge how fast Rogic is coming at them and so they don't feel under pressure when he's pressing. This is why it looks like he doesn't have endurance, he does. Because it looks like he can't close anyone down. It's pretty similar to Del Piero in the A League. Although with his longer legs Rogic is at least a bit harder to get around.

Some people just run at a pace that they can only increase over time with momentum. Other people can go from stopped to full speed in a step (messi can do this, it's fucking incredible).

I'd really like to see Rogic pushed forward if the team wants to play defensively. We can then press with the rest of the formation and still have him as an outlet. Using him in the midfield when the opposition has the ball is just not as effective.

Cool, he's also 18th for most touches and 20th for most completed passes.

Crap. Just crap. When I was in my early 20s at uni i was a smoker. Then I worked in transport for 3 years and after slogging 70 hour weeks in that caper my body whittled away to nothing. I got on a bicycle and could bearly ride 5 metres without collapsing. 2 years later I completed the Canberra marathon. The furthest I had ever run in my life was as a teeanger and wasn't even 1km from memory. We would go 5k trials at school and conk it on the first corner.

Yeah got out of the job. I was driving buses. Fucking good money at that age. But it's no life. One day off a week and you're knackered on that day. Was basically a functioning zombie for 3 years. Scares me thinking back how much my body wasted away in that time. I was down to something like 62kg which is not too good for a 6 footer. My body bounced back to 83kg all lean muscle mass within 2 years. Also keep in mind 6 months of that 2 years was spent in rehab after getting tonked by a car.

Can't build fitness in your late 20s? Fucking lol. Step 1: get off the couch, job half complete. The human body is fkn amazing.

Berlin lost.
I saw Östersund were leading with 5 minutes to go, put it on and Bilboa scored. Even still. Yeah its 0c in up north and 20c in Spain, and its astroturf but Spanish and German teams should be the Swedish teams.

Its crazy really. Östersund have 7 points from 3 games. Berlin 1.

That's funny... i literally used to be the most a active person i knew from my early teens to mid 20s. Training, playing football at a decent level in my late teens, but could never run very far... i then gave up the real competitive stuff for casual sunday league, futsal and basketball, all the while i kept stacking it on. Up to 125kg but still running like a kid. Acquired trigeminal neuralgia at 27... 5 years of no sport im at 115kg and just realised i have a thyroid issue.

Keeping in mind i ate super healthy but kept putting on weight.  For past 5 years most ive ever really worked is 20 hour weeks, eat terribly and can't run...  and slowly losing weight. The human body is a disgusting thing.
