Scratch that, credited own goal. But Mabil played it in to the box.

Juric with a full second half in a 1:0 loss.
Gersbach came on for a midfielder. Interesting, reshuffle perhaps.
Langerak should get a loan move to Bochum, Kaiserslautern, Mainz or Darmstadt.

Has been a great week for Danny Vukovic and KRC Genk. 7 points and 3 clean sheets.

Mamma mia...
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

MM FBig shout out to Eoin Ashton, he is a player I had the privilege of working with at Brisbane Strikers U15’s. It wasn’t long after we found out he was already on his way to West Bromwich Albion in England for trial. He has since been in England with West Bromwich Albion FC youth setup as the Captain and going strong. He is originally a Rochedale Rover FC player in the Brisbane Premier league, before coming to Brisbane Strikers FC. Eoin, spent a lot time before and after training doing that little extra work to improve his game each week, and it just goes to show that if you want it you have to work for it. So when you get you chance to shine your ready for it. Good luck mate and keep at it. 👊🏼

Kruse not in squad. Concerning. Squad named tomorrow by Ange. Leckie definitely in. What's up with Kruse?

Kruse has a knee injury according to Bochum forum. The didn't want to risk him in the cup and thought it wouldn't be right for Düsseldorf but worse then they thought. Very Concerning......

+xIn interesting Aussies Abroad news, Louis Khoury, who was a pretty unknown player for Manchester City's academy has just transferred to Blackburn Rovers. I say unknown because not many Australian's know him and it's really hard to get info on him. He's only 17. http://yooying.com/p/1507500514577065177He actually seems to show quite a lot of promise. He's a dynamic attacker with some pretty silky dribbling skills. Pretty much the only information on him is on his instagram or something, which is pretty random. There are some videos there which show some of his skills. Who knows how good he could end up being, but at least he could get a chance at game time in the lower tiers of England. Especially because he's been there a while, so he would already be accustomed and acclimatised to the location/style. Here are some highlights: http://yooying.com/p/1476700510097710533http://yooying.com/p/1319055295477793032http://yooying.com/p/1443397274444483200http://yooying.com/p/1423125016803045029I was shocked that there was an Aussie in Man City's academy, when I found out about him last year. Obviously breaking into a first team like that is ridiculously hard for a 17 year old, so he seems to be making a smarter choice. For what little its worth the latest version of Football Manager has him as Australian and regards him as a potentially world class player.

Pasquali starting away at Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Youth League, currently up 1-2 in the second half. No stream that I could find, unfortunately.

On the one hand Rogic will be fresh for us but I also want to see him against the best. Obviously Rodgers is hoping to play for 60min with a level scoreline and then will bring Rogic. Bayern can only be beaten if you attempt to attack them. If you stand back they'll put one in.

Ending 1-4 with Pasquali getting 90 minutes. Pretty safe to make the knockout stage now I'd say.

Bayern make it 0-1 in 21 minutes, they'll need Rogic now!
One thing that the keeper stuffed up his challenge, but the fact he wasted precious time appealing to the ref was moronic, I was about five when I learned to play to the whistle ffs.

Opa! That's a senior cup comp too, against Mansfield seniors. Seems he's been captain of the Everton U18s most of this season, as well.

Great to see Pasquali playing full matches for the Ajax youth team, was painful seeing him lost in the wilderness. Would be incredible to see him break through to the first team.

He's very much a first XI in AM for the U19s, next step is Jong Ajax who play in the senior second division, the Eerste Divisie.

Celtic v Bayern Munich is live on SBS right now, by the way. 0-1 at the 30 minute mark with Rogic still on the pine.
