+xHow did Mooy go? Arsenal thumped them it did it look good for Huddlesfield. Not the best game from him, Huddersfield fought hard for 60 minutes nearly made it 1-1 and then absolutely imploded. Conceded like 4 goals in 10 minutes.

Rose gave away the late penalty in the Celtic match but it looked like the ref choked. I only saw one angle though. +xHow did Mooy go? Arsenal thumped them it did it look good for Huddlesfield. Not bad in the first half but faded badly in the second, body language wasn't good.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Hi Guys, Things looking good for Noah so far in goals. The Head of youth training (U10 - U15) of Wehen Wiesbaden likes Noah so he has a good shot at making the U10 Wehen Wiesbaden Team for next season. Here's the latest and last outdoor training session for 2017 I filmed. Three new boys turned up for a sighting yesterday including a new keeper. I've noticed boys come and go since Noah joined the training group. Next week they move indoors as snow started to fall after training last night. Not sure if I'll be allowed in the indoor training hall next week. But if I can I'll film it. https://youtu.be/IhPFz5Ga8HwWehen Wiesbaden team info: Mens team are currently in 3rd place in the 3 liga and hopefully will make it into the Bundesliga 2 for next year. The U19 are in the U19 Bundesliga and are mid table at present. The U17 are leading the Hessenliga and have a chance to be promoted to the Regionaliga The U15 are playing in the top league at present in the Regionalliga The U14 recently played a friendly against the U14 National Luxembourg team and won 14- 0 The U12 are top of the table in the Gruppenliga. The U10 are top of the table in the Kreisliga. So for Noah I think Wehen Wiesbaden Youth Academy would be a good next step. The Wehen Youth Academy seems to be developing their youth well.As an example 5 players from last years under 15 team signed professional contracts this year.

Jedinak out for 6 weeks with that shoulder injury. He'll miss the hectic Christmas period where he would have collected decent minutes. Main thing everyone plays well in April and May and gets to Russia injury free.

He often goes totally missing.

Saw Chipperfield linked in a Facebook post. It appears he's working as a real estate agent in Switzerland. More interesting was his son is in the Basel U15 side. Keep an eye on Liam Chipperfield. That name will stand out.

Lovely assist by Borrello. He stops with the ball and swings it inward for the header to go straight in. That's got Cahill vs Varane written all over it.

Assist for Borrello, good stuff. Langerak not in the squad. Time to leave, buddy.

Nice. Borrello goes for a flat cross and it deflects swiftly into the goal. More an o.g but he's assisted both tonight. 2:2

Ffs Kaiserslautern keeper punches it somewhat and it's gone in. 3:2 loss for Kaiserslautern dead last.

+xSaw Chipperfield linked in a Facebook post. It appears he's working as a real estate agent in Switzerland. More interesting was his son is in the Basel U15 side. Keep an eye on Liam Chipperfield. That name will stand out. Curious question. A lot of the Golden generation some of which are now living in Europe now have kids of which some are teenagers now starting to play football. If they end up being any good some people are assuming they will end up playing for Oz. If their footballing education has not been made in Oz i cant see them choosing Oz.

Most of those kids have probably never even lived in Australia. Obviously it would vary from family to family because some kids may still feel a strong connection to Aus based on extended family, how often they visit, watching their dads play for Aus etc, but it's far from a given that they'd chose Australia. It might even be generous to say it's 50/50. I think we'd be more likely to get Matildas out of the golden gen's offspring considering Australia's current standing in women's football.

Generally they'll fall back on Australia if they can't get into a team which appears superior. Most UEFA nations do seem that way these days. The German, French and Dutch FA especially have the issue of investing heavily in players who then choose their parents' country of origin.

Yep second bench appearance for Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie. Really great sign, I'm not sure how often other players in the U19 squad get called up for Jong Ajax, but it's a good sign of progress for him; he's only just turned 18. They really have to change his photo on Transfermarkt though lol
