+x+x+xAnsell's Tondela hosting Benfica at 7:15am AEDT tomorrow morning. No Ansell Tondela down 2-0 after 37' Lost 1-5 in the end. Hopefully that'll be instructive regarding playing Ansell. Not sure why he missed out. He received a yellow card in the last game, perhaps a yellow card suspension. Hopefully not injured again.

Kruse plays away to St. Pauli in the morning
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

KOLKATA: City football giants Mohun Bagan on Monday announced the signing of former Bengaluru FC's Scottish-Australian defensive midfielder Cameron Watsonfor the rest of the I-League season.Watson, 30, replaced fellow countryman Diogo Ferreira who was roped in at the start of the season but did not play a single match for the green and maroon outfit."With immense pleasure we wish to inform that Mohun Bagan has recruited Watson Cameron Alexander John in place of Diogo Alexandre Alves Ferreira. Watson is in Australia, he will apply for visa tomorrow (Tuesday) at Melbourne," a club statement said.Watson last played for Madura United FC in Indonesia. Before that, he was part of Bengaluru's squad when they were still in the I-League.From this year, the former champions jumped ship to join the Indian Super League(ISL) bandwagon.Mohun Bagan take on Manipur based-side Neroca FC on Tuesday looking for a win after being held to a 1-1 draw by Shillong Lajong in their last engagement. The Sanjoy Sen-coached side have eight points from four matches.

Kruse has been in the thick of it, but 2-0 down unfortunately. Pasquali on the bench for the reserves.

Both made most teams of the week I found online too ... Mooy was in every team I found, Ryan was replaced by Ederson (ESPN FC), Gomes or Foster in a few I found, but majority had Ryan. Great work boys!!

I'd wager when Schwarzer was at Fulham/Cahill at his Everton peak, probably 08-09 or so. Absolutely fantastic. Surely this is the best year for Aussies abroad in some time? Plenty of others getting in TOTWs as well.

Interesting Sainsbury article on fox sports. He said he went to China to help set up his family for life and wants a European return. He said Germany was his preferred destination.
Hannover have openly said they need a winter transfer for centre back. Just need contact to happen. I can imagine Freiburg, Hamburg and Mainz looking around. Bremen seem to have settled on their two. Sainsbury shouldn't expect minutes right away but in the right squad he should play soon enough das hopefully retain the spot.

Wright starting in the cup against Man United Edwards starting away to Celtic, no Rogic Oar and Antonis stayed on the bench Halloran's presumably still injured

Wright at right back in a back 4. Seems to be doing well there. While not the fast type he might be one to defend his zone and keep wingers at bay.

Perfect time to have a break-out RB option if our new manager plays a back 4.

+xPerfect time to have a break-out RB option if our new manager plays a back 4. Agree. Has to be a back four I think our options with good defenders suddenly is alot better if this occurs.

Many options. Many teams played a flat back 4 in the 90s with fullbacks with less of an attacking focus.
Wright Sainsbury Jurman Behich would be interesting.
