5 goals 2 assists in 31 games ? that's last season I gather. Not entirely great for an LB in a mid table team.

He's ok, so I'm neither excited or completely against the move. Could be good or bad, I would not go if the LB @ PSV is already quite good.

cracking save. i just watched the game. maty's long balls were pretty bad tbh.  sent 3 or 4 over the side line. very sloppy.

he actually didnt have too much to do. brighton's midfield pretty much bossed the game.

man u have made some stupid signings. the desperately need a proper right wing and a solid #6 and they bring in two 8's - matic and fred - when they just broke the record fee for pogba, and they bring in sanchez when they have martial and rashford. makes no sense. mourinho wont make it through the season.

Martial was friggin dopey last night. Lindelhof looked way out of his depth and Bailly , so I'd argue they need a quality CB pairing over anything else.

Need a clean out. Get rid of Mata, Felainni (both do nothing). Get Arzani and you're in better Territory. 

Rashford isn't a creator. They need someone who can run and run, fark scholes and giggs used to do this better than the current mids. Fuck they suck. 

Exactly 5 goals from left back is outstanding. Plus he's excellent in creating play even from a left back position. Really like aziz

Behich was an average player in the A league but has really lifted his game since moving to Turkey. It just goes to show that if you make the right club choices eventually you can reach the highest levels. Perhaps the Aminis and Yebohas of the world might have had slightly diffferent careers had they made more sensible, realistic club choices.

Hope his payments are up to date , Turkey going downhill fast , currency down 45% this year .

Now maybe there are some players with way better stats that I am missing but here are a bunch of fullbacks from top of the table EPL teams and Behich seems produced similar numbers for a team who finished in the bottom half. Also for fullbacks I think these numbers don't tell a whole lot. 

Exactly, why are we judging left backs on goals scored anyway?

Behich might even be the best natural leftback Australia has ever had so far (but that’s not saying much because it’s historically almost always been our weakest position).

While the same league I would say that this is a move up in terms of clubs, Sparta Prague the strongest in the division. Not sure how much game time he'll get though.

Sparta Prague is a good club.  Better than Hibs.

Next season maybe, they're currently second in the Czech League. 

strange they finished 5th last season. Either way, good to see his short-lived exploits were noticed by one of the big clubs there. Hopefully he can conjure up some form, because he won't be getting an easy selection into the team due to fatigue because of the absence of European action this season.

Happy for him. If he gets game time he surely has to be given at least a shot by Arnold.

Atalanta recently signed Iraqi LB Ali Adnan, so not too sure they'll still pursue him.

Rather he went to PSV any day of the week regardless.

Atalanta also play a back 3 or 5 so he'd be playing LWB or LM

I don't think anyone is even sure he's good enough. 

Same with Milislav Popovic, I dont think we've seen enough of either of them to say that they'd be better than a Murray, Majok, Scott, Lokolingoy etc.

I would love to see Deni Juric, Popovic or Valentini trail at Newcastle. Having another back up striker who could eventually push Roy would be good. Hoffman surprised me last season, but he can’t physically cover 3 positions at the same time.
Regardless, I hope each of those aforementioned players find a club soon and kick on in their careers. I love being able to support Aussies wherever they’re playing.

It's a step up. Besides the boys in the big three leagues, the Celtic boys and Sainsbury, this is the next best level that any Socceroo is playing at, if he starts anyway.
