Genreau starting. Getting some consistency now.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Both Sainsbury and Behichs moves made a whole lot of sense at the time. They’ve still only a few months in and with a coach that knows exactly what they’re about. They’re both the best man in for their position so they’re only a drop in form or injury away from a run in the side. Could do with psv conceding some goals though

+x+x+xGoing to be hearing that a lot now I think. Anyone think Behich will last more than a season after the general talk of the PSV supporters? Honestly, supporters are stupid. Behich and Sains were absolutely fine that game. Isimat was way worse than Trent. Abels is like their youngest payer by far and was fucking ridiculous at RB. But he is Nerthalands product so they're not going to target him are they. Isimat, wouldn't be surprised if he put Sains in the shit that game. ESPN commentary was al over his shithouse performance & rightly so. Supporters can be licking windows and eating mud. Their intelligence is irrelevant. They pretty much influence a lot of what a club does. Especially in Europe. Calling them stupid, true or not, is pointless. I know, I know. Emphasing the point, that not only Sains & Behich were at fault for that loss.

Fortuna Köln 0 Wehen Wiesbaden 7 🤩 a few minutes to go. First game for the new Fortuna coach. Hopefully replacing Yeboah after 30min isn’t a bad sign for his future at Fortuna. I’m happy. Wehen move into 3rd spot on the table

+xGolgol on for Tetteh in the 65th minute. 2nd sub. Seems to be playing every week now Golgol. Good progress Getting some good minutes against Slavia means they think he's no mug. The problem though is they have 4 players vying for those 2 forward positions and Golgol is definitely 4th in the pecking order. They'll always play Pulkrab before him. Tetteh is still in his once in a career purple patch and Sural will always get the nod ahead of him as an NT player. Tetteh did appear to be subbed off after a knock, so maybe there's an opeing for Golgol. I didn't get to see it all as I was slumming the fuck out of it watching Zbrojovka Brno instead.

+xWhat's our feelings regarding Pasquali's situation? It's great he's at the Ajax academy, but I wish he was actually playing more often. I wonder about how much progress he's actually making there. I know I will upset someone by saying this, but after watching Pasquali in the recent U19 Championship, I though he was extremely underwhelming and I expected more from him. He looked much more exciting when he played for Victory. He looks like he has actually gone backwards. I can't see him stepping into the Ajax first team after that performance. Hopefully I am wrong. I think these young players head off overseas too early. He was doing well at Victory and should have stayed and developed there for a few years. Same goes for Theoharous. I wonder if he is regretting his move. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him back here in the A League after his contract expires.

Everyone who plays in our youth teams looks depressingly average. None of them can play together for whatever reason

Some of these youth players like Theoharaus got game time and looked good in the ACL .Yet now they are rubbish in a national youth team.Go figure. No matter what anybody like ex Socceroos coaches say, playing regularly for any team is better than training in Europe. We see it time and time again.Players come back here and play and find form. What a Goodwin!

Mooy more advanced. A good flick and tackle so far. He's even the highest up at some points. Exciting. Hopefully he can get some shots.

Mooy on the left wing now. Mounie all alone. What's Löwe doing? Gotta work together and attack.

I hope we see Mooy around a better set of players soon. I imagine he'd stand out less but his play would be rewarded.

Huddersfield are on track to repeat Derby County's record breaking run in the premier league in 2007/08.
Teams that fail that miserably in the premiership effectively kill the players' careers.
In the two transfer windows of 2007/08, not a single one of the transfers out found another spot in a premiership club. More than half didn't transfer - contracts terminated. Some of them even went to League 1!
Get. Out. Of. There.
