+xhe was awful in that game.. barely touched the ball must have been thinking of his summer holidays instead lol Sigh. I mean, didn't he barely touch the ball when one of these stupid managers was in charge before ? Lennon or that other learned manager after him

Jedinak has been subbed on in the last minute of extra time for the penalty shootout.

+xThe most in form striker eligible for Australia is this guy https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mattia-montini/profil/spieler/1303687 goals in 10 appearances in the Romanian league Adam Taggart is also in good form but my criticism of Taggart is his lack of physical attributes; not tall enough, fast enough or strong enough just someone who can shoot well. We really oughta take a look at montini, no other striker we have is in better form by a long stretch apart from maybe Taggart who also deserves a call up Interesting. Gotta remember that despite the level, it's still a full time professional gig under the big lights in Bucharest. The Italian education is certainly valuable too.

Sorry I seem to have missed this. Is this Montini Australian? If so surely we are having a look at him

Mile keeps the streak alive. Still the only player in WORLD FOOTBALL to maintain a 100% penalty conversion rate across his entire career for club and country.
(For those who have taken 10 or more career pens).

Yeah but it's good to have a bit of versatility with your strikers. And like I said taggart's not quick either nor particularly great at dribbling, he's a poacher with no physical presence

Is he coming back to A League next year? he's got to be moving. has warmed the pine for most of the season. definitely no love from the AV boss. could end up promoted to the EPL for the second time. Crystal Palace should take him back. legend of the club and hardly missed a minute until pardew came in and almost sunk them.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/zachary-duncan/leistungsdaten/spieler/659848Zachary Duncan looks to have either signed, or is on trial at Mustafa Amini's AGF Aarhus. He scored a goal in the game he played (Reserve's match) which was good of him.

Correction according to google he's on 12 goals in 19 appearances currently*
Anyway there's no rush the only other team he's eligible for is Italy, he won't be getting capped by anyone else and he's 27.

He’d at least make the bench at Villa The Palace fans love him but I really can’t see him returning. Agree he’s underappreciated tho.

Brad Smith has been so good for Seattle tonight, 2 assists as of the 68th minute I think.
Clearly a top-level MLS player. Has said he wants to play a full season with Seattle but its up to Bournemouth and Seattle to figure it out, not sure Seattle can get it worked out and stay within the cap.
Regardless, his consistent performances so far should put him back in the picture for regular PL games if he does return to Bournemouth. And should be back in Socceroos picture as well. Seattle already has Sweden, Peru, Uruguay, South Korean, US, and Panama internationals on the team, would be cool to add a Socceroo as well.

But still, good to see him in some form, will be in Socceroos squad definitely.
