Theoharous on the bench for the U23s, Italiano isn't in that squad.

sub007 - 27 Jul 2019 10:21 PM
Vuka played in a 2-1 win last night.

He apologised for his mistake which cost his side a goal.

Should've tipped it over but it was a good shot with some movement

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Ange playing Man City tonight.  Will be interesting such styles going against each other.

Losing 1-3, but only with the last goal in the 92nd minute, after rotating pretty much his entire team on the 75th minute, against what looks very much like a first team City side.

Elder on bench for Leicester vs. Stoke. They are playing two friendlies concurrently and he is with what seems to be the starting XI.

He's had some good games but has incredibly slow and is just 'big.'

Anyways at least Mooy will be playing all the time at Huddersfield. It is annoying he's at that level when he did well in the EPL.

Same thing every summer where we get our hopes up that he might at least be included in the squad only to get loaned last minute. I'd much rather he get settled at another club on loan earlier in pre season. If he does make the Leicester squad I don't think he'd play much.

True, really it's the safest best from a Socceroos point of view, at least we'll know he'll be playing and playing well at a decent level every week for Hudders if he stays, but who knows where he could end up if he goes.

I do feel this is the last chance to get an upwards move. If he stays at Huddersfield he has the winter as a deadline. After that it'll probably be Huddersfield then another fha Championship side or EPL as a backup.

Cruijff shield between PSV and Ajax. Ajax lead 1 0 early. Sainsbury not in 11 and I have no bench information. I laugh at how the PSV fans moan about their defence every time. A fit and confident Sainsbury is a very good player. He's been in a rut for a long time and needs to get out of it.

PSV have had a very ordinary pre season and the Basel game is massive. Van Bommel is under a lot of pressure.

Maty yet to concede this pre season.

They got too many game-losing defenders. Only 1 game Sains got bad publicity, the errors weren't even his fault.

ESPNFC to back that up. Van Bommels problem is he caves in to the fans. He'll be gone soon at this rate.

Good news is Sainsbury seems to be fighting it out. Let’s be honest though, he hasn’t been great for Aus since World Cup and by all reports nobody in Holland rates him on performance.

I was just going to post that. Pretty impressive and his first league game for their u/23 team.

Does anyone here know much about wolfsburg? Is their a chance that Iredale could make their first team squad if he keeps getting goals like that?

They have Weghorst who is a top-class striker, then they have Ginczek who is also decent, but has injury problems, then their is Mehmedi a Swiss international who usually plays as a CF but can do a job up-front... and that is basically it for their 'No.9's' . However they have a dearth of wingers/Cam's who could play as the 9, such as Ntep and Malli.

So, if iredale is to get into the match-day squad he'll need to continue scoring each week and prove he is worthy, or he has to hope that both Weghorst and Ginczek are out injured.

I'm seeing a fairly consistent trend with Wolfsburg's strikers (the two mentioned above), is that they are a fairly burly lot, so Iredale seems as though he'll fit right in if he's required.

Would be good to just seem him cement himself in the second team. Still very young..
