Rhys Williams should be back for Boro pretty soon. According to reports he will be in the squad that travels to Leeds this weekend but if he sees any gametime it will most likely be off the bench. He was going to be in the mix to make his return to the squad last weekend but the practice match was cancelled due to the weather so they decided to wait for yesterday's practice match which he got through. They aren't desperate for Rhys to return at the moment as Woodgate is fit and Hines has been in good form plus they also have Bikey but obviously if Rhys comes back in good nick it won't be too long before he is back in the starting eleven.

Read a rumour through twitter that Tommy Oar has been linked to a couple of Portuguese clubs in names of Benfica and Sporting Lisbon! :shock:

That's from the dutch sources anyway, it will interesting to see if FC Utrecht will sell him over the European summer or even in January.

Considering his club needs the $$$ to stay afloat, well that how these dutch clubs make thier money anyway.

Well the game starts at 9:30 Qld time? I was looking at Soccerway just for the team list as I thought the game had started by now... It lists them as a 4-3-1-2... With Oar on the left in like a LM or LCM role and Zullo as an AM? :-s Sarota as a RM.

Ajax are controlling a lot of the game so far. Utrecht's defenders - too much balls pumped forward with the little possession they've had.

Ajax stuffed up another opportunity...

The Referee seems to be swayed in giving Ajax the fouls, but not Utrecht.

Sarotas touch has been poor so far, think he just got a lucky nutmeg, other then that the trio havent had much to do.

Strange seeing Oar play so centrally. Looks very rusty.

Ajax are a cut above but who knows Utrecht could steal a lucky win.

Utrecht have been awful all over the field especially along the back four, if it wasnt for Ajaxs choking every time they entered the box it could easily be 3 or 4 nil.
