Really good 1-2 away will for LASK Linsk against Basel with Holland playing the full 90.
If they get through they are guaranteed at least a Europa League spot right?

Massive rumours by English journos on twitter that Mooy on a season long loan to Brighton will be completed on deadline day. Not ideal but at least it's epl.

Man I almost prefer Grob over Mooy, Mooy is so fukn slow... bogs down every team he plays for ! Needs to get out of first gear or he doesn't suite that team at all.

Pröpper has been a liability for a while. They've got young Bissouma. How have I missed him? He's played 34 games for them already. His stats would reflect he's more defensive. Mooy would be a solid addition to consolidate their midfield.

Holland did very well Where was Behich?
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

PSV in Norway tonight. Dilemma in defence. Play Sainsbury and build or give Baumgartl his first run. Why should Viergever be guaranteed a spot? Maybe Sainsbury and Baumgartl is the best combination. Wouldn't mind see Sainsbury in midfield tbh.

It’s good Mooy is still in the EPL even on loan, hopefully he would be a regular player for Brighton.
I think it’d also better he went there instead of say West Ham or Everton where it would be a lot to tougher to play regular games so I think it’s a smart move.

BBC Sport had a little bit at the bottom of an article that Elder might be moving to Hull permanently.

+xBBC Sport had a little bit at the bottom of an article that Elder might be moving to Hull permanently. Beat me to it. This would be good news. I was expecting he’d go to a League 1 team but to get a deal in the championship with an ambitious team and also playing alongside Irvine would be good news for Australia (assuming he gets game time). He was always unlikely to break into the Leicester team

POTTER: MOOY DEAL CLOSE Brighton are "close" to completing a deal for Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy ahead of the transfer deadline, according to manager Graham Potter. Australia international Mooy made 65 Premier League appearances for the Terriers during the past two seasons before their relegation in May. "I think we're close at the moment but nothing to announce formally," said Potter. "But he's a player we like, of course, and we hope that we can get it finalised today. "He's had experience of promotion out of the Championship and he's also had experience of being in the Premier League and, in terms of a character, we like him a lot. His attributes as a footballer, I think they fit into our group."I'm reluctant to go into too much detail, forgive me, because he's not our player." https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre

Giannou starting. No Sainsbury. Either he's being rested completely for the league game or MVB is totally set on the other two. Sadly I think it's the latter.

1:1 for Larnaka. PSV win 1:0 away. Rangers lead 1:0 in Denmark so hopefully Mabil will come on.

Seems like Mabil doesn't fit the formation which sucks and might contribute to more bench time this season. TBH i don't know how flexible their coach is though. Also Lowry to Middle East isn't too bad. He's thirty and deserves a pay-day. I've got no idea how he never played for Australia too looking at his club-history

Massive day of football ahead. Feels like Christmas. Not expecting too much regarding Mooy or Elder today. Hope for a surprise.
Can Iredale score again at 9pm? Hertha away to Eichstätt in cup tomorrow. Hertha have signed Lukebakio and have a lot of attacking options means Leckie is a tick on the outer.
Tonnes of lower English league stuff on. Going to keep an eye on Souttar and Lyden especially. Williams, Folami and Burgess can hopefully get their first team seasons underway today.

Does anyone know if Kenny Dougall is likely to get regular time with Barnsley? Would be amazing for him to get games in the Championship.

+xJohn, do you know if theoharous or Italiano featured for moechenhladbach II yesterday? I can’t find anything on it Totally forgot those two last night. Info is out now. Italiano probably wedged between teams. He's likely seen as too good for reserves and shouldn't be risked whereas the first team is still too strong. Leckie 2.0
