+xThird MLS final meeting between these two teams in four seasons. How good are salary caps? Fair point, though these two only here because of huge upsets over LA and Atlanta. Hate salary caps, though this time more a matter of upsets than anything else. LAFC was best team in MLS history that laid an egg against underdog Sounders, and Atlanta under Frank de Boer terrible in match against Toronto.

We all saw what happens when you start players who are actually playing at their club and players who don't play at their club.

+x+xMilligan unused as Southend lose to Dover Wow. New depths It was a cup game against lowly opposition, so it's not that strange to give him a rest. He always plays in the league.

Demi Juric scored a pen yesterday.
He now has 8 goals and 4 assists in 13 matches in the Croatian second division. Surely he’d have to be on Arnie’s radar for the Olyroos squad.

Good to see him fit again. Quite clinical when fit and served well.

‘Replacement’ was a word used by Bundoora Brah, not the article.
Brighton have terrible depth in their GK options beneath Maty so wouldn’t surprise me if they strengthened there, but Maty is definitely sticking around and the #1 spot is his.

I don't think Maty will be too worried. The guy hasn't done much and he has already seen off Tim Krul.

Supposedly he played well too which is great for his confidence going into this U/23 camp. Would be great if he could get some senior minutes off the bench before the u/23 tournament in January so that his confidence is up.
