+xWtf is wrong with Ryan? He's having a nightmare. The whole team are, Mooy not having his best either. I can't believe all subs used (with no injuries) before the 60min mark.

Mooy's doing ok. Not sensational, but he's been involved in every positive move and nearly scored. I'd say he's easily their best player. Everything goes through him.
Maty hasn't made a save, had two ridiculous blunders, and was once again beaten on his near post. A real dog of a game for him.

Still time to get something from this match for BHA
but if they don’t wake up soon one would expect a spanking from Spurs on Boxing Day

A couple of decent moments from Borrello towards the end but nothing came of it. Schalke 2-2 Freiburg
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

He has been starting Mooy on the right and taking away their attacking-midfield strength of allowing Mooy, Trossard and Alzate to work ball through with short fast passes and clever runs.

Here they can just sit back and defend, and they're good at it.

It's weird that Sheffield Utd are clearly better than Arsenal. They're a seriously tough side.

Broadcast saying Blades haven’t lost away all season.
BHA had limited balls into the box. Pretty much no chances in 2nd half. 1 long range shot and a Mooy corner on target.

+xRogic got final 8 in a 2:1 win. Who? Name rings a bell Bit like De Silva. Amini. Ikonomidis. Arzani. Solid players who almost made it. Just curious, Amini, what, 5 years or more in Scandinavia leagues, what kind of annual pay would he be on? What would that compare to if he was an A league marque salary?

Rogic should go out on loan to ‘lesser’ club in January to get his form back for the NT at least- not much chance of that at the ridiculously strong Celtic 🙁 Arzani WAS aiming for Boxing day return to senior squad but pigs might fly that day too. Understatement of the year is that He really needs some decent game time

Rogic definitely needs to get away from Celtic. The thing about Celtic is because the league is so one sided and because it’s basically Goliath against many David’s and generally it’s a low quality league, Celtic can just dominate possession and run rings around every team, and it has the habit of making distinctly average players like look like champions, especially if they run and sweat lots. It’s not really suited to a guy like Rogic who would prefer the pace a bit slower where skill and creativity is more appreciated. He might not be in the starting team at the moment but he’s one of the few who has the ability to step up to the EPL.

Yep 👍 Must be bloody boring for Rogic right now knowing he is signed for another 3 years of bench sitting with only some occasional minutes. Him and Arzani becoming professional football ‘trainers’ instead of players at celtic :-((( at least Arzani is still young at 20- Rogic at 27 might wanna get game time elsewhere soon

+xDykes scored a hat-trick. That’s 7 in 14 now. Only just turned 24. Good time to get a Hattie - just before January transfer window when there are already teams from higher divisions keeping a close eye on you.

+x+x+x+x+xI’d like Rogic to move on... I think it’s time for him to test himself again a new challenge! could he play in the Premier League? What club would take him? I’d love it if leister and Rodgers pick him up! Or is it a top championship club like a Leeds? thoughts? I'd go a bit lower so that he can stand out somewhere like Preston or Derby. Celtic will want a lot of money so he may not turn out to be a bargain. Rogic is far far better than these clubs. I swear so many of you drink the EPL coolade. Theres so many other top flight leagues rogic could realistically play in without going down to championship There is plenty.. but the bloke doesn't have the balls to take risks... if he does move... it will be super safe move into another english country where he can coast by again. Saying Rogic should go to the Champiosnhip is an insult to our national team given he is one of our best players along with Ryan and Mooy. Injuries permitting Rogic would make the grade at premier league level if given the chance i've no doubt. Rodgers even said so when he managed him. Having said that i think Italy would suit him perfectly. lol I never said he would go to the championship.. he wants to walk into an english premier league team it seems... I personally think also he would do very well in Italy but he dont have the balls to make that kind of move.

Honestly we have to call Dykes up at this point - he deserves at least a look in over Giannou

+xDykes scored a hat-trick. Just watched the highlights and while there were some decent finishes, the defending was appalling and there's no way he (or his teammates) gets that much time and space in the A-League or any half decent league. I want to see him do well against better opposition before considering him for a call-up.

But Nabbout made WCUP squad!? 🤔

Firstly, the pace of the game is so slow compared to the EPL, anyone in the SPL would need to pace adjustment. Let alone Rogic who dwells on the ball at times and doesn't appear to have the body for doing a hard 90min a week. The reality is that Celtic is about his level. Yes he has excellent skills, but that is only one element of what's needed. He isn't a complete player able to step up. There may be another league more suited to him, but the English game is too fast.

Hrustic with a good free kick, smacks the crossbar. Just didn't dip enough. Hrustic assist from a free kick. His delivery has been superb.
