Haifa highlights. Decent goals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxF8l0KL93g

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Discussing the recent success of the Australia international, Howe said: “It’s brilliant for Brad. He was such a popular member of the squad (here).

“(He is) a brilliant guy. All the players to a man loved Brad and really wanted him to do well in his career. So I think that’s only natural that he’s going to get that support from everyone here, me included.

“I loved working with him and managing him. (He was) not a minute’s problem and always wanted to improve and get better.

"So the fact he’s gone over there, such a long way from here and his home, but he’s forged a brilliant experience in his career, full credit to him.”

Howe of course wants to confirm what the next vsteos steps are. Not expecting much for Smith at Bournemouth with their already strong squad. Watch this space.

So is he going to get game time with Bournemouth?
is he back in the squad? Playing?
everybody loves Howes but will he give Smith a chance.... where should smith sign for that needs a fast left back or wing back?

I honestly don't think he'll play at Bournemouth. Plenty of clubs are after him apparently. This report is from a month ago. He'd be insane to end up somewhere with tough competition for match time with all that's coming up. A steady move to a place where he'll get plenty of minutes is smart. Behich is stuffed currently. Elder is first for me currently. Great player.

Brad Smith won’t be staying at Bournemouth. He’s a free agent now and will be looking to assess his options and move on.

Mooy and Ryan starting against Spurs. They got some fresh players in for this one it seems. Schelotto and Bernardo get defensive starts

Wonder how he would perform in a better team.

It does seem at times he is above his teammates.

Mooy is so much more involved here than at Huddersfield. I remember the matches there when the ball just kept being played around him and he had weird positioning. A joy to watch today.

Kane scores. VAR to come. Appears to be just offside. Worse yet Maty has timed that run poorly. Stuck in two minds.

Very lucky, only ruled out due to Kane's arm via VAR, poor call by Ryan to go running out leaving an open net.

Mooy is just better around this team. Unfortunately there's no comparison amongst our Socceroos. The national team can improve but getting to this type of level is far away. How I dream of Mooy pulling out such performances at the Copa America which will hopefully facilitate the rest of the players.

Well it may be a little easier as Boyle has scored a second!
