On Kilkenny, I genuinely think he would rip the A-league apart if he could stay fit. His ability to play killer passes are all angles is uncanny.

But the tackles were late, high, reckless. You lot are asking the questions so you must see it as well. My opinion may be different from Pat’s. He’ll say he sent his team out to get in our faces and I don’t mind that at all, but the ref should take more of a grip on it sometimes.”
Fenlon said he was delighted with his team’s physicality. When asked for a response to Lennon’s accuations, he said he was happy that his team have finally got the message that they have to be in the faces of teams in order to get a result. “Neil is entitled to his opinion,” he said. Gosh if rogic does get a run perhaps then he can play for the wallabies And this is why Holger and some others questioned his move to Celtic/SPL. The doubts/concerns continue, the longer he's there. Hopefully he sees a regular run now and does enough to impress scouts south of the border and preferably across the channel. Even to see Oliver Bozanic and Dario Vidosic impressing in the Swiss league, EVEN THERE, he could be tearing it up, week in, week out! Let alone Tommy Oar reaping rewards at Utrecht. Those are the sorts of leagues known for the development of 'jong'/young players, NOT Scotland! ](*,) I know there are arguments counter - Celtic are in the CL/European football etc... but pointless when his style of game isn't valued by the coaching staff, above others of different qualities perhaps? Mind you, Kris Commons and others are good players too, so he chose one of the teams/suitors with arguably the 'strongest squad'/midfield' of the bunch, bar QPR (Which would've been arguably worse?). He could've been tearing it up at Matt Ryan's club, Club Brugge instead, for instance? Ah well, it's all hindsight - hopefully his 'next move' is a better one? This recent article with Holger about it, circa recent friendlies, reminds why we need Rogic breaking through. People were constantly critical of Holger, but he was NOT WRONG on this one: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/socceroos-coach-holger-osieck-explains-why-tom-rogic-only-playing-cameo-roles/story-fnii0fc4-1226726398483BTW To see how his Celtic team-mate, fellow Aussie, Irvine, thrives in the same league, albeit via loan, is another ironic reflection. He's too good to be loaned out to another SPL club like that, but he's also, so far, not been considered good enough to crack the senior Celtic team proper, thus far.

Amini mentioned as BvB II's best player last night http://www.3-liga.com/news-3liga-muenster-setzt-den-aufwaertstrend-gegen-dortmunds-zweitbesetzung-fort---spielbericht-8290.htmlQuote:Dortmund now settled once fall back and join the hosts. Which examined the gap, but did visibly staggered back against the good team score heavily. Dortmund was uncertain, not brought forward a lot.
Best man was Mustafa Amini, who, however, found no real play stations on the offensive. However, Munster domierte the game almost at will. 's 27 Minute the home side had another chance. First, the Eagles advanced to support the ball before it went very quickly at once.

Irvine's goal seems to be from a set piece on the edge of the boxed rolled across which he hit from outside the box.

Great to see Amini get more game time again. Its interesting Rogic cant break through at Celtic while Amini isn't playing in the first team but should we give him a look in for the November friendlies to see how he goes?

Colin wrote:Was our great leader an unused sub for Omiya? He had a good game, he made no defensive errors and Omiya only lost 1-0. He is showing his best form for the season, it is great to see the coach has kept faith in him and kept him in the team even if it was only on the bench. Hope Ange shows the same amount of faith in him.

grazorblade wrote:Davis_Patik wrote:Meredith, Wright and Wesolowski all started in league 1 we have a lot of 3rd division players, one of them might be a gem. I hope our new coach has a look at them. He may not find anyone good enough but its worth a look Wesolowski is a slightly sad story, but he's still in there and playing fairly regularly it seems, so not that sad perhaps and he's still young enough to come back! Younger days debuted with Leceister City at 18/19 in the Championship - coach and fans were raving about him, but then he suffered injury from a bad tackle and then injury spell after injury spell for the next few years. It's only his recent club, Oldham, where it seems, hopefully, he's finally settled into a regular run of senior football, albeit in a lower division. He's the gem in the rough, a good, hard working, DM/CM who gets around, has a good tackle and is a generally good footballer, apparently. I don't know much more tbh, but again, he debuted early, purely due to his talent and was still high in the team's pecking order/rotation, despite injury spells, but the absences and lack of football took their toll. Not unlike Rhys Williams in that regard, just Williams saw through that and is still with his club, where Wesolowski had to see loan moves and eventually departed. Even just looking at his Wiki, his record of career appearances, season on season, alone gives an indication of where he once was. He was even called up to the Socceroos - I forgot about that! But no wonder I did - he had to pull out due to, you guessed it, injury! :/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_WesolowskiBut again, he's playing regularly and coming back. Hopefully he can rise up in league level/standard again before he hits his peak years, which are only a season or two away. Edited by gloryperth: 20/10/2013 06:56:28 AM

Missed that Scott McDonald started for Milwall and he has now scored. I wonder whether the new national coach might give him another chance.

There is a bit of spread of ages, Federici 28, Langerak 25, Ryan 21 but goalkeeping is certainly a position which is a strength.

Looks like a Middlesbrough need Williams, down 3-0 now with one goal being a penalty given away by center back Ben Gibson.
