Langerak playing his 100th J-League game on the weekend. If he can get a clean sheet this coming weekend in the final round against Sanfrecce Hiroshima he'll take out the all-time J-League record for most clean sheets in a season, having tied it in the last match: https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/langerak-ties-j-league-record-for-clean-sheets-in-a-season

+xDisappointing but Ryan beaten by some very good goals. You reckon he could have saved the 1st Maddison goal?

+x+xMaty starting vs Leicester in the EPL right now, for those awake. Worringly reading through the comments on Brighton Facebook page, lots of fans are losing patience with Ryan. I get the feeling this may be his last season as their No. 1 and he'll be either a back up or joining a team on the continent. cant blame maty for their form

+x+x+xDisappointing but Ryan beaten by some very good goals. You reckon he could have saved the 1st Maddison goal? Pretty tough ask as it was deflected. Yep, but he got hands to it. A keeper at the top of his game is saving those once they get hands on it. Maybe a bit harsh, but I think he could have done better with the second one as well. I don't think he is making himself as big as he used to in 1 v 1's. Look how Schmeichel spreads himself earlier in the game. Ryan has a tendency to go down on a knee lately, which means that most of one leg and foot is not being used as a barrier. I noticed some in the Brighton facebook criticising him for not coming out for crosses enough. I don't think this is justified, he comes for crosses pretty much just as much as any other EPL keepers do. However I think most keepers these days don't come for crosses anywhere near as often as they did in the past, but a large part of this is because crosses tend to be much harder and flatter now than in the past.

Petratos scored against Al Hilal and was involved in the late winner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps_DYEP9VBM
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Amini returning to Australia: After 9 beautiful years, I’m saying goodbye to Europe. I didn’t think this day would come so soon, but nothing in life can ever be planned.
Thank you to all my team mates, staff members, coaches and especially the fans. Thanks for the memories, friendships and good times. Thank you Borussia Dortmund, Randers FC and AGF Aarhus - you’ll always be part of me.
I’m heading back to Australia and we’ll see what the future holds. https://www.instagram.com/p/CIy6mnLD33A/?utm_source=ig_embed

Souttar starting. No Hrustic. Frankfurt is really at 100% availability. No one injured or waning on form.

+xAlex Robertson scored 4 goals in man city u/18 win over Derby city. Final score 7-0 Ange had the foresight to cap Ikon while he was still in Lazio's U23s before Greece got him. Arnie needs to act decisively on this player who's playing for both Man City's U18 and U23 teams before the lure of a senior England cap becomes a reality. Of course that will require the Socceroos to actually play a game, which is beyond the FFA this year apparently. He's done well bringing in Boyle and Souttar, to be fair, but losing Robertson would be a blow

Leckie came off the bench for the last 15 mins or so. Had a few nice touches, but also made some wayward passes that were really disappointing - the Hertha fans are really on his case at the moment, so he pretty much needs to do everything 100% perfect. He needs to somehow put a couple in the back of the net to shut them up.

Shrewsbury have barely lost any games since Matt Millar came into the starting eleven. The apples effect!

Leckie has done well pound for pound compared to all the over inflated stuff in that squad with the golden price tag. These bench cameos are always quite unnatural for players. Of course they should and need to deliver but it's always throwing them in on a prayer.

Cam Burgess got another MoM in a 2-0 win. He’s in great form in League One at the moment. It’s nice to see some defenders (Souttar, Millar, Burgess, Elder, Wright etc) playing regularly and well in the EFL, regardless of level. That’s 4 young players all across the back four who are putting in the hard yards and getting rewarded for it. Keen to see what the future holds.

+xMillar deserves to be in the Roos squad If he keeps going then defs agree on at least a call up. we need more right back options. Atm hes bene playing right wing back as i believe they're playing 343.

+xAlex Robertson scored 4 goals in man city u/18 win over Derby city. Final score 7-0 If this kid could be a Donny Van De Beek type of No.10/Second Striker midfielder then this would be great for the national set up. We have alot of No.6s but little attacking or creative type of midfielders coming through.

Tbf Caleb Watts starts every game for Southampton’s U23s playing as a 10, and as the youngest player in the side. Virtually everyone else in the team has played in the Premier League, so he’s looking good.

From watching him for the Joeys he looks more a No.8 than a No.10, quite mobile and likes to collect the ball from deep too.
