Doesn't have his scoring boots on today. Two decent chances scuffed in the space of 5 minutes.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Another good long run and pass by Halloran. I think he has very good balance. I find Kruse's running always like he is about to trip over. If I understand a few opinions on here, we should try Halloran and Leckie a little wider with Oar deeper and Cahill up front.

Once Bresc retires it'll be out of Oar and Rogic for a while for that no10.We are really starting to get some nice depth leading to the Asian Cup and the next WC Qualifiers. The next crop off A-Leaguers will head off soon enough and that will be more depth again. The likes of Antonis,Bratten,Juric and co should set us up for a good go at 2018. This is the most pumped ive been about the team for a long time. Leckie can lead the line. Ideally you have Rogic in behind him. If Rogic is fairly fit, he should start there, otherwise he'll get a cameo late in the match. Oar on the left wing and Halloran on the right wing. With Sarota and Jedinak in the middle of the park. There will be some stiff competition between Halloran and Kruse for that right wing position at the Asian Cup. Let's hope some of the teenage Aussies at Euro academies start to make their mark too. They're the guys most likely to be the best footballers we can produce. Edited by quickflick: 5/5/2014 01:14:08 AM

It's good how versatile our players are.

Atmosphere at Brugge v Anderlecht is farken pumping. Bit different to playing between the sticks at Bluetongue.

Granted Kruse may take a little time to get back to full fitness but other than that should be Kruse all the way

Brattan and Antonis need to go to Europe, but I think they will be good enough in the future.

Davidson getting arrogant, thinking he is going to be starting. Must have forgotten about the man qho got us through qualifying in McKay. http://www.onze11.nl/aussie-back-robben-heeft-ook-twee-armen-en-benen/Quote:Aussie-back: "Robben has two arms and legs'
Jason Davidson prepares for a duel with Arjen Robben. The 22-year-old left back Heracles Almelo is based player in the national team of Australia sees the match against Netherlands with confidence, as he says in ELF Voetbal Magazine .
"If you look purely realistic to this group, we would be sitting at home. After three matches in the plane But in sports you always have opportunities. We Australians should not have subtle positional play or a great technique, but of fighting spirit, to believe in ourselves, to never give up, "Davidson begins.
He Robben and further affects the strong attack from Spain, which makes him little off. "With all due respect for those guys, but they also have two arms and two legs, just like me. Of course they have more quality. I mean, we're talking about absolute world class, but we have to see to compensate. I have no fear for Robben. Sure, he's one of the best strikers in the world. And I certainly do not expect 'just like that' to disable it. That even succeed the best defenders in the world does not. Yet there is always a way to curb by him as a team to make. 'Life miserable him

Simply looks good in a winning team and goes missing when needed. If Holland is on the plane to Brazil it will be the biggest con job since Dexter Rosales.

Leckie being linked with Ingolstadt a team only 2 places above them at the moment. From what I have read they have hired a new pretty ambitious manager and could see some investment. Well to sign Leckie they will need investment as Quote:The 23-year-old is the second division still under contract until 2016, would the club for a transfer fee in the seven-digit well but may leave.
http://www.liga2-online.de/ingolstadt-kommt-leckie-geht-caiuby/Anyway here is the transfermarkt article on it. Pretty interesting especially the comments. In there some are saying a few Bundesliga teams could use him or even Dusseldorf with one Dusseldorf saying "Would love to see him with us. Had what: Leckie left, right Halloran!" which I would quite enjoy. I am guessing he will wait until after the World Cup before seriously looking at offers though Quote:According to information from the Neuburg Observations of the FC Ingolstadt tinkering anyway rather the exchange of another player of the FSV Frankfurt. It is to concern Mathew Leckie. The lightning quick Australian fits perfectly into the preferred Ralph Hasenhüttl Umschaltspiel. From Leckie recently you could make in Ingolstadt directly an image. In the 0-1 home defeat against FSV Frankfurt Schanzer of the 23-year-old Australian scored the decisive goal, was also time after time defending the Schanzer look bad. http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/mathew-leckie-zu-fc-ingolstadt/topic/ansicht_154_1004809_seite1.html

Cracking shot from Jedi against Liverpool, on target and forced a great save. Has to be our most important player going to Brazil.

Jedi went down for a couple of seconds there and looked in pain. Fair to say I shat my pants. All good now. Just played the final pass for Palace's first goal. Played well today.

I personally thought Ward was better defensively but Jedinak killed it going forward today, best moment was when he dispossessed Sterling on the edge of his own box, then proceeded to shrug off Suarez and ended up on the edge of the opposition area in what I thought was about 3 strides
