Dont know if its a "thing" but both Belgium and Holland had colonies in Africa at the start of the 20th Century. So there may be many established Belgium or Dutch footballing connections in Africa? Or they base their selections on ability over skin colour? i think it the eu visa Work permit ...they play there 1 or 2 years, and easy to move to uk team. City have a series of agreements with clubs to whom they can loan youth players from non-EU countries who otherwise would need to serve five years of residence in the UK to earn an EU passport granting them the ability to play in England without needing a work permit. Primarily the countries of Benelux and Scandinavia are viewed as the shortest way of achieving this. Sweden Djurgårdens IF (2013–present)[33] Sweden BK Häcken (2012–present)[34] Belgium KV Mechelen (2010–present)[35] Netherlands NEC Nijmegen (2010–present)[35] Norway Strømsgodset IF (2010–present)

Babalj starting for AZ reserves. Just scored 2 minutes in.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Renamed this august thread to reflect that it isn't just contributed to by the @OSAussies peeps, and stickied it because it's an obviously paramount and perpetual topic.
If anyone has other suggestions for the name then shoot. :)

Luke Wilkshire this season: http://www.whoscored.com/Players/3100/Statistically it seems he has a lot of Jedinaks weaknesses as Strengths. And his strengths as weaknesses well some at least. Really has to be an option for a DM partner if we go back to 4-2-3-1 which Ange has to be considering. Jedinak as a sole DM is just not working.

Last game he was probably Australia's best player as a sole DM.

Amini is not in the Dotmund 1st team squad & just like Eli Babalj at AZ Alkmaar are playing reserve team football. Both have yet to make their 1ST TEAM LEAGUE debut after been there for a while. Pre-season friendlies is all they have to show. Kerem Bulut needs to find a A-League team.

This is one of those instances where I don't know if I'm being a retard or not but I could have swore that they won 4-2.
