Interesting article about Southampton youngster George Mells. Will he stay, come home to Melbourne or go to Feyenoord?

Leckie is on 4 goals and 5 assists in 18/34 games. I am hoping for him to get 10 in both by the end of this season. also don't want him to be sold this January. why do you think he be sold? is their talk of it? there were rumors after the WC and he is a good player in the top team in the league, normally gets interest from the division above ingolstadt are going to be very reluctant to sell anyone. they have spent money and loaded the squad this year for promotion. It depends whether they overspent to get to this position. The Bundesliga is not like the premier league where the Tv money is such that clubs have a huge cash injection, though in the case of Blackpool for example they ran a premier league squad on 10 million pounds and hired David Carney, while one of their directors got the club to pay them 10 million pounds.

Maty Ryan kept a clean sheet in Brugge's 0-0 draw in the first leg of the Belgian Cup away to KV Mechelen.

Not if he plays as an attacking midfielder for us, then he'd only be fighting with Finkler and Maka. Anyway, he's only 17, NYL will probably do for a little while he sorts out this family thing.

It would appear one of Mells' family has an illness of some sort, that would being one of the few reasons why he might leave some of the world's top academies. City could certainly use someone of his skills.
he'd be playing HAL not youth league too, which might be good for his development to get some senior gametime amongst his junior development training.
A loan from Southampton or Feyenoord to City seems the most likely. SFC could be another possibility, but it would be most likely he would need to be very close to his family wherever they are at present, presumable in or close to Melbourne as per his junior football.

Also, Kenny Dougall played 90 mins for Telstar in a rare 1-1 draw.
And yes, thankfully, his name is still Kenny Dougall.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Translation Article written by Thomas Bosman 23rd November 2014, Source Kuip Talk Feijenoord gets the midfielder from Southampton definitive to Rotterdam Feijenoord seems to be strengthen in a short-term with George Mells. The 17 years old midfielder from Southampton is for some while on trial in Rotterdam and makes such an impression that the club would like to keep him definitely. That has been told by Kuip Talk last Saturday. Mells is an Australian-Greek midfielder from the new club of old- Feijenoorder Ronald Koeman and played before in the youth of Chelsea. The youth-international of Greece is already on trial at the Feijenoord Academy at (the group) A2 and will also play the matches for the time being. Mells started the season in the group under 18 (years old) at the Southampton club of Koeman and Graziano I Pellè. Last called couple are doing great in the Premier League after their departure at Feijenoord. The Saints occupy the 2nd spot in the competition, while Pellè already 6 times scored in 11 matches in the Premier League.
Speaking to his brother a decision will be made after careful thought upon meeting people in Melbourne, we have always planned what George did as a youngester, Coerver, Futsal, and so on.

It will be tough but he needs to make the most of this chance. As a foreigner he needs to prove himself even more. Edited by Barca4life: 20/12/2014 03:44:41 PM
